Wir (mein Sohn und ich) waren fast 5 Wochen zur Jagdausbildung in der Jagdschule Langenhöft und dafür in Ostenfeld untergekommen. Das Haus "Zur Sandkuhle" wurde in dieser Zeit zu einer zweiten Heimat. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, für uns war es der perfekte Rahmen und trotz der Jahreszeit hatten wir eine super Zeit. Das Haus ist rustikal und aus dem Jahr (ca.) 1850 aber die Einrichtung etc. zeitgemäß. Sogar die Besitzerin durften wir kennenlernen :) Würden wir nochmals eine Ausbildung zum Jäger machen - wir würden uns sofort wieder hier einquartieren.

Wir haben Anfang August 2 schöne Wochen in Ostenfeld verbracht. Trotz wechselhaften Wetters konnten wir Ausflüge zur Nord- und Ostsee unternehmen. Das Ferienhaus liegt nur 15 Minuten von Husum entfernt und wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das alte reetgedeckte Bauernhaus hat einen besonderen Charme. Schön auch der Garten direkt hinter dem Haus, das gefiel auch unserem Hund frei zu laufen. Von der Ausstattung ist alles da, was man braucht. Bettwäsche und Handtücher wurden gestellt, wünschenswert wäre, besonders, weil eine Spülmaschine vorhanden ist, dass mehr Besteck und mehr Teller, vielleicht auch 4 Sektgläser zur Verfügung gestanden hätten. Aber letztlich sind das nur Kleinigkeiten. Edeka mit Bäcker und Post waren fußläufig zu erreichen, alles in einer ruhige Wohnlage. Schöne Ausflüge nach Schleswig, Flensburg, Kiel, St. Peter Ording, mit Abstecher zum alten Hafen in Tönning. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch ein Besuch des Wilden Moors mit Lehrpfad in Winnert und des Ostenfelder Bauernhauses in Husum. An den Husumer Krabben Brötchen kommt man eigentlich nicht vorbei und wenn man Glück hat, dass grade am Hafen in Husum Flohmarkt ist, sollte man auch da mal vorbei schauen. Unser Fazit: Wir kommen gerne einmal wieder!

Ruhe, Ruhe, Ruhe Schwarze Nacht mit vielen Sternen Gemütliches Häuschen Es fehlte ein Eierbecher, noch 1-2 Schneidemesser und vielleicht Sektgläser zum Anstoßen bei Neujahr und ein paar Weingläser. Eventuell auch eine neue WC-Bürste (leckt etwas). Auch die Bettdecken in der kalten Jahreszeit könnten etwas dicker sein. Ansonsten war alles OK, einfach aber für uns genau richtig. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Liebe Grüße Familie Gillenkirch

Unser 9tägiger Urlaub im Februar war sehr gemütlich und erholsam (2 Personen und Hund).Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße und der Gang zum Bäcker und Einkaufen im Edeka war trotzdem schnell zu Fuß erledigt. Der Bäcker hat auch Sonntags vormittags auf. Eine kleine Käserei rundet das Angebot ab. Wir konnten von hier aus mit dem Auto schnell zur Nordsee, aber z.B. auch nach Husum oder Schleswig fahren. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Haus, sehr gemütlich, Umgebung super, es gibt viel zu entdecken und zu besichtigen. Außerdem kann man tolle Radtouren in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung unternehmen.
