About this property
Torre de Campos country house
ED Refnr. 1067520
Traditionally, in this part of Aragon, farms consisting of one or more dwellings with their corresponding extension of land and separated from the urban area to which they belong are called Torres, just as in other areas they are known as farmhouses, farmhouses, farmhouses, farmhouses, etc.
This Torre de Campos, located in the municipality of Ainzón and at a distance of about a thousand metres from the town centre, is made up of two adjoining dwellings built in the 18th century (Madoz in his 1845 encyclopaedic dictionary gives an extensive and detailed description of it in his treatment of the town of Ainzón); the main dwelling and the "torrero's" (formerly the person in charge of looking after and maintaining the property), now used as tourist accommodation.
The property covers an area of about ten hectares and is dedicated to the cultivation of olive and almond trees. It includes a large garden area with centenary trees and bushes dating from the time the house was built, an area with a gazebo and barbecue (available for outdoor lunches and dinners), a spring with a pond for irrigation, and an organic vegetable garden to grow our own crops, an organic vegetable garden where you can grow your own vegetables in a sustainable way and a farmyard where you can see different species of domestic animals in semi-freedom, as well as an open-air ethnological museum where you can learn about old farming tools and implements used in rural life in the past.
The house, which can be rented in its entirety (the client will always have exclusive use of the whole house, whether there are two or six people staying) has two floors: The ground floor with an entrance courtyard where part of the oven where bread used to be baked is preserved, the rest of the floor and independently would be the old stables, today used as a garage for the farm machinery of the farm. And the first floor, of about 70 square meters and attic consists of living room with fireplace that serves as heating of the house and sofa bed for two people, two bedrooms, one with double bed and one with two beds, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower.
The maximum capacity is for six peoplePets are allowed

It is very respectable to use rural tourism as an act of leisure and relaxation, but Agrotourism will always add value to your experience. Not to mention if you are parents of urban children.
An agritourist does not go to the countryside as a mere backdrop. The agritourist is someone who demands life in the countryside and demands a certain involvement and proactive attitude. Families who are tired of the city and are looking for a different and relaxing activity are the perfect audience.
Many young children have never seen farm animals live and any child loves animals, can you imagine how excited your children will be when the chickens eat from their hands? Have you ever been out in the countryside to pick blackberries, blueberries, raspberries...? Have you ever listened to the twilight hour, the nightingale singing while you look for the big bear?
Making an omelette of alpetriques and colejas, picking olives to make them in water and salt.
These are little things that are there, unnoticed, and if you practice them, your trip will surely be more enriching and will bring more memories than ever.
In addition to the activities that we can do in this place (walks, lunches and dinners outdoors, living with animals, growing vegetables, etc.) excursions to nearby tourist places: the Moncayo, Tarazona, Borja, the reservoir of La Loteta and in general visit all the villages and places in the area.
