This lovingly furnished apartment offers a unique connection to nature on the edge of the Davert Nature Reserve. In a wonderfully peaceful location on the outskirts of town—in Ascheberg, Westphalia—guests can relax, enjoy nature, and go on excursions by bike to the Davert Nature Reserve, along the Münsterland Castle Route, or by car to places like the historic old town of Münster.

The ground-floor apartment measures 70 square metres and consists of two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining room, and bathroom; it is within walking distance of the town centre. Guests may park their cars on the street in front of the house. Bicycles can be locked to a bike rack outside; no smoking and no pets allowed. In town, you’ll find supermarkets (ALDI and Rewe), banks (Sparkasse and Volksbank), various bakeries and cafes, an ice cream parlour, various restaurants, pizzerias, and fast-food spots, pharmacies, and much more.

The municipality of Ascheberg is located in the Münsterland park and cultural landscape within the Dortmund–Hamm–Münster urban triangle. Ascheberg’s neighbouring municipalities are (clockwise, starting in the southwest) Nordkirchen and Senden (both in the Coesfeld district), the independent city of Münster, Drensteinfurt (Warendorf district), the independent city of Hamm, and Werne (Unna District). Within a 13-kilometer radius, there are a total of 18 castles, fortresses, and manor houses with moats, including Westerwinkel Castle in Herbern and Nordkirchen Castle, which is also known as the “Versailles of Westphalia.” In addition, there is a well-developed network of biking and hiking trails around the municipality of Ascheberg. Ascheberg has an interchange on the Bundesautobahn 1 (E 37). Furthermore, the municipality is connected to the railway line between Münster and Dortmund via two train stations in Ascheberg and Davensberg. The regional train 50, “Der Lüner,” stops once per hour in each direction. General practitioners, pediatricians, and dentists practice locally. Inpatient medical care and specialist care are provided by the hospitals and specialist practices in the neighbouring cities of Münster, Lüdinghausen, Werne, and Hamm.
