Rustic decor in a serene, quiet, dead-end. Smoking is not allowed in the home. The front porch and upstairs bedroom deck area are always lit up with chairs for you in the evening. There is a refrigerator, microwave, tea, and fresh coffee/espresso maker available in your room, along with a fresh water dispenser and ice maker. Conveniently located near the train station (a 25 min ride to NYC), 15 min from JFK Airport, with food (Amazing Pizza, Chinese food, & Deli) & laundry service up the block.

It’s easy to tell that Dino takes great pride in being a host. There were lots of little touches that showed effort and care. We stayed here for one night prior to our early morning flight from JFK. Everything was great!

We were a little nervous booking a room in someone’s house (the only legal way to do it in NY without booking for 30 days) but we were pleasantly surprised! We had a very private space here that had everything we needed. Dino was very responsive and kind! About a 20 min walk to the LIRR for cheap transportation around NYC.

The room is perfect for a weekend getaway for couples. It is exactly like the description - "cozy". It was ideal for what I needed, close to JFK and parking. This neighborhood surprised me. It's super quiet, away from the busy city life of NYC. Who knew?! I love it! I would definitely stay again.

When we pulled up to the house, Dino came out to greet us. He showed us to our room and told us what we needed to know. We found the accommodations to our liking. The outside deck was definitely a plus as we spent a few evenings outside. Great location, easy access to the city and beaches. There are many restaurants close by. Will definitely book again.
