As you return from an exciting day of skiing on fresh powder, you can warm up by the gas fireplace and flip through the offerings on TV for a bit of relaxing entertainment. Once the sun goes down, prepare home-cooked movie snacks and mugs of hot cocoa in the well-equipped kitchenette. Whistler Peak Lodge is enviably situated in the heart of Whistler Village, with grounds that include a fitness room for your morning workouts and ski/bike storage. The Whistler Village Gondola, the Excalibur Gondola, and the Fitzsimmons Express Chairlift are all within a quarter-mile stroll. If downhill skiing isn't your activity of choice, you can snowshoe, cross country ski, or peruse the many shops and restaurants that await practically outside your door. Come summer, take your pick of gorgeous hiking and biking trails and soak up the picturesque scenery. For a bit more action, take a thrilling zipline tour with Ziptrek Encounters (home of the longest zipline in Canada and the United States), conveniently located just over half a mile away.

What You See is What You Get

The room is exactly like it is in the photos and 3D tour. There's a kettle, toaster, microwave, proper range, decent TV, everything. Tub is nice and the jets work. The gas fireplace was really nice in the evening and mornings. Gets a bit loud at night but you're facing the Village so anything would be. Everything was clean except for a washcloth the cleaner forgot. Don't expect anything more than the pics and you'll be satisfied.
