Smoky Skies: Brand New Hot Tub - Luxury Resort Cabin - Family Fun Games

ALL ADVERTISED "2 BEDROOM CABINS" features an enclosed (PRIVATE) bedroom on the main floor and an open loft (NOT PRIVATE) second bedroom upstairs sharing the floor with the game area. In other words, the king bed located in the open loft floor is considered the "second bedroom"; please understand, one out of the two bedrooms in this cabin does not contain a door that allows for any privacy from the rest of the floor. 
Not a secluded cabin. Due to being located in a resort setting, there are neighboring cabins to be mindful of. 
Decks overlook cabin driveway/resort road before showcasing the BEAUTIFUL mountain view! (Decks are not particularly private).
Cabins are easily accessible year-round as the roads are well maintained by the resort staff to provide stress-free travel to all guests. The resort features inclined roads that are paved, wide, and do not require special vehicles or four-wheel drive to navigate, however, should a four-wheel drive vehicle be accessible to you, it would benefit our guests to drive that vehicle when visiting during the winter months in case of snowfall, to be able to access other parts of town comfortably.
Offers an electric fireplace that is for ambiance purposes only. This fireplace is not advertised as a heating source for the cabin.
Furnished with Aspen Log Furniture to provide that rustic, but luxurious cabin feel.
Charcoal for the outdoor grill, kitchen spices/oils for preparing meals in the kitchen, coffee filters for the coffee maker, and clothes hangers for the closets are special items that we would like to point out that we do not provide to guests during their stay.

Spectacular Views!

Lovely cabin! We felt safe and had our privacy as well. If you like to cook bring your spices! The only thing missing was a washcloth for the downstairs bathroom! Coming again in the fall worth more people!!

November vacation

It was a nice place and enjoyed our stay other than the large mouse that chewed through the wall in the upstairs bedroom. Lisa at the front desk was very professional and quick on getting a maintenance guy up to our room to fill in the hole and put poison through the opening. It subsided for a few days but by the last day we still heard the chewing and scratching in the walls while trying to sleep. We did have a good time but will most likely not be going back to these set of cabins.

The Cabins are released to the guest once they have been cleaned and inspected by both the housekeeping inspector and by the maintenance inspector. That policy is in affect to ensure that the cabins are ready for the guest when they check-in. We do allow early check-ins when available but during this very busy holiday season it's extremely difficult on housekeeping to get them ready by check-in time. Many times, we encounter situations such as pet hair left behind in a cabin that requires more time especially when the pet is not disclosed to the office. As was the case with this cabin. Beautiful Cabin!

The cabin was spotless and beautiful. The beds were comfortable. We are a family of four and had plenty of room to stretch. My kids loved the pool table and air hockey table. I enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and sitting on the porch swing. The view in the morning was beautiful. The only “issues” and I say that lightly, was the gaming table needs serviced because the handles are loose and difficult to use. And the jacuzzi tub button for the jets didn’t work. I didn’t call the office because it honestly did not effect our stay. I definitely recommend staying here!

Breathtaking

My fiancé and I rented this Cabin to celebrate our 4 year old’s Birthday. The view is breathtaking (I wish they would cut down the overgrowth across the street hindering some of the beautiful view). The cabin is nice, cozy, and peaceful. We all enjoyed the playroom (games) as well. One thing is they do not give you extra towels, wash clothes, etc. They expect you to wash them. When I talked to the property management, she stated twice that it was in the agreement and in a somewhat rude way. However, they were helpful and nice when they talked to my fiancé about our check in email not coming through.

Nice cabin but needs updating/repairs

We loved the location of this cabin, was as described but does need a few items repaired to be 100% as they should. Hot tub worked but control panel is malfunctioning. Water was 99degrees when we arrived, low water level and and control panel “warmer” button actually made it colder. We figured out to get jets to work you have to press “lights”... one headrest missing and many other brokern areas. Arcade game worked but both joysticks don’t work properly. Air hockey works but doesn’t keep score and you can tell is very old. Pool table poor condition. Shutters to block off jacuzzi tub to rest of loft are broken, one actually fell off the hinges completely when we moved it 2 inches to open it. Cabin was clean minus one blanket which had a dried/sticky clump on it (we guess was a large booger) and we also found dried food and dead ants under the kitchen table placemats which made us wonder if everything was washed / cleaned properly. Overall we loved the location and it had the amenities we desired but would suggest more care be taken to make things 100% versus “working” or just covering the bases “as described”.

Beautiful cabin and great location.

The online process for renting the cabin was very easy. The cabin was pretty clean, but there were a few cob webs in the bathroom corners and shower area. We had 1 minor issue with a TV, but I made a phone call and is got fixed quickly. The hot tub light did not work, but no big deal. The heart shaped tub upstairs was nice, but it took a king time to fill and the water did not stay hot, but we only used it once. The upstairs single shower was on the small side, which was uncomfortable. The pool and air hockey tables were nice and fun to play. The old school arcade game system was fun, but there was no sound to it. We didn’t see any bears, but the maintenance guy that I met during checkout showed us some bear videos from his phone of bears in the area that were taken during the summer months. Overall the cabin was a great place to stay.

We will let the cleaner know to keep a better eye for them in the case they were just missed. The heart shaped jacuzzi is going to be like a regular bathtub with jets. It does not have a motor like the outside hot tub to keep the water hot. It will stay warm the same amount of time that bath water would stay warm. Very much enjoyed our stay. House was clean and perfect size for us. Wifi and satellite TV worked without any issues. We did not use the hot tub. Neither mattress slept well to us, but we are picky sleepers. Overall fantastic weekend with no complaints!
