Nice space, everything you’d need for multiple day stays. Owners are very accommodating. Close to all. Quiet neighborhood. Stairs would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Got our exercise.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely Victorian home. The location was convenient, the home was clean and spacious and the hosts were great to communicate with. Would highly recommend.
My family and I loved our stay in at Jim’s home in Portland. Other than the stairs, the place was perfect, but we knew what to expect. Great space, location and communication.
Everything we needed for our stay in Portland! Loved the kitchen/dining/living open floor plan outfitted with nice dishes, cookware and lots of gadgets. My favorite place to sit and relax in the morning was the massage chair! The off-street parking is a blessing.
As-advertised, well maintained and more spacious than I expected from the pictures. Three flights of stairs might be a challenge for some but we didn't find it to be an issue. The kids loved the play area near the living room. Off street parking is a big plus in this neighborhood.
We had a great stay at this house. Everything was as described, host was helpful, house was comfy. You can't beat the location - it's on a quiet street, but close to all the fun stuff in Portland. Our kids loved the little children's play room.
Property was as-advertised and very clean/well maintained. My 3 year old was obsessed with the secret kids play area off the living room. Off street parking and easy walk to coffee shops and restaurants. Owner was friendly and super helpful, even helped with a flat tire the morning we were getting ready to leave. Would definitely rent again
Jim’s house was a perfect spot for our family. Great location- an easy walk to downtown, restaurants, etc. Jim was a great host and even shared pickleball paddles and a basketball when our kids wanted to play out back.
We were in Portland for our daughter’s grad school graduation, and our accommodations were perfect. Jim was an awesome host! Thank you so much for the use of you home.
Perfect family visit - wonderful historic property
This was the perfect spot for a family visit for a long weekend. Three generations - ourselves, our son and his wife and toddler daughter - came to visit our daughter and son-in-law who live just two blocks away.
The apartment is spacious, clean, well stocked, and very child-friendly right down to the mini rocking chair and small nook filled with toys, games, oversized stuffed animals and dollhouse.
Communication with the owner was easy; we had no issues but if we had, the owner lives downstairs.
We feel lucky to have found this, and hope to stay there again when we are all able to get back to Portland together.
Highly recommend it.
Our stay in this beautiful apartment space was as close to perfect as one can get with a family on vacation. Location was not only in a quiet and quaint section of Portland but was central and convenient to all areas of the city. The space had all the amenities of a home and the comfort. The entire apartment was clean, very clean. When we return we intend to seek this space again, could not recommend it enough.
Fantastic property and thoughtful amenities. The property exceeded both the listing and our expectations. Hosts were communicative and welcoming. Location is fantastic, close enough to all the attractions of Portland while still being quiet. The kids nook was an outstanding feature and much appreciated by my 3 and 5 year olds. Will definitely seek to stay again if our travels bring us back to Portland.
This property sits on the outskirts of Portland and it was lovely. Yes, the stairs are a young mans game, but they weren't too bad as we were out and about for a majority of our trip. Rooms were well equipped with plenty of fans, blankets, etc. Communication with the owner was simple and breezy. He was always available when needed. Place was 25-30 minutes walking distance from anything you would need. Loved the stay, loved the city. Great overall experience.
Lovely location and well equipped apartment. Could just do with a couple more easy chairs to save arguments at the end of a long day site seeing !
