Relax with the whole family at this peaceful farmhouse. Get the best of both worlds: quick access to downtown or the feeling of being on a farm in the country. Beautiful views of the Bitterroot Mountains right from the living room. Enjoy your coffee on the back deck overlooking a working flower farm or the neighbors' horses. Tons of open spaces and parks are near the house, including Historic Fort Missoula, Big Sky Park, Kelly Island Access site, and more.
We are happy to interact with our guests as little or as much as they would like. Always happy to share our favorite places and activities in the area. We do offer contactless check-in with smart locks.
Orchard Homes is a, charming, historic, and largely residential neighborhood located just southwest of downtown Missoula, offering a quiet, rural-suburban blend. Characterized by larger, often, mature lots and easy access to the Bitterroot Branch Rail Trail, it features a strong sense of community anchored by the historic Orchard Homes Country Life Club, a hub for local events since 1911.
With smart locks we have a seamless self check-in process. We are available 24 hours a day to answer any questions or handle any issue that may arise. We are happy to interact as much or little as the guest prefers.
The entire home, including the front and backyard, is exclusively for guests, with no shared spaces. There's a separate, small home on the property that's occupied by long-term renters, but there are no shared spaces between the homes. Additionally, there's a working flower farm on the property that you can see from the back deck. The flower farm is fenced off, and there are no shared spaces there. A private irrigation ditch runs along the end of the front yard near the main road. Please refrain from swimming or playing in the ditch, as it's private property.
The house is two levels: ground and basement. There are two private bedrooms located upstairs. One with a king bed and the other a queen. Downstairs there is a bunk area, great for the kids! The bunk area features a queen bed and a bunk (double/single). There is a full bathroom upstairs along with a half bath downstairs. The full kitchen is nicely updated and equipped to handle any cooking needs big or small. The living room has two sofas so the whole family can share a movie together. The dining area boasts a large table so everyone can sit and enjoy a meal. There is a large deck out the back door with plenty of patio furniture and a barbecue. The backyard, also fully fenced, gives your pets a big area to play.
This is a pet-friendly property, accommodating a maximum of two pets. Please ensure your pets are crated when left unattended in the house.
We offer three private parking spots in the driveway. If you need to park a boat or trailer, we can accommodate it in the front yard. Please let us know in advance if you'll be needing this option.
