Modern chalet with a garden, terrace, sunroom, and rooftop terrace, located in a well-equipped resort. The marina, sandy beach, and surf school are just a few minutes’ walk away, as are restaurants, a supermarket, bike rentals, an indoor pool, playgrounds for children, tennis courts, and various other sports and entertainment options. The mile-long North Sea beach on one side and the town of Kamperland Veersemeer on the other are ideally situated along a romantic route that’s easy to reach by bike. You can leave the car behind. At the house, the rooftop terrace offers a great view of the marina; there is one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds that can be pushed together or kept apart. On the ground floor is a bedroom with bunk beds, a bathroom with a window, bathtub, shower, and small sauna; separate toilet. Open-concept living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, oven, small appliances, and microwave. Cosy sitting area, TV, and fireplace. The winter garden, featuring two lounge chairs, comfortable rattan chairs, a large round table, and a terrace with patio furniture and a hot outdoor shower, rounds out the picture. Free use of the lawn in the garden.


Sea + inland water: The body of water where the Roompart resort is located is the Eastern Scheldt. A vast water conservation area. Ideal for sailing, cycling, fishing, and relaxation. No noisy water sports activities take place here. Guided tours to explore this region are even offered by the Roompot Holiday Centre. The Veersemeer, an inland lake separated from the North Sea by a long dune and a causeway, is accessible from the resort by bike in about 15 minutes. Here, all kinds of water activities take place, such as water skiing and surfing. At the ferry terminal in Kamperland, ferries and excursion boats depart for Veere. On the Veersemeer, you’ll find large grassy areas right on the water where you can walk your dogs, go hang gliding, and much more.

Beach: The “beach house” is a sprawling bay of fine sand right in front of the resort, reachable on foot in less than 5 minutes. The North Sea beach with the Sener Dunes, starting with the Delta Project on Vrowenpolder in Doomburg, is over 10 kilometres away by bike along idyllic bike paths—a 15-minute ride—or, of course, you can always drive there. Here you can take hours-long walks along the beach. At most of the beach access points, you’ll find the typical beach huts, which are usually equipped with a windbreak, beach chairs, and a small table. At the beach access points, there are often places for children to eat, a small café for refreshments, and a “Frituur” (for fries, hamburgers, etc.). Between the beach access points lie miles of secluded dunes and deserted stretches of beach. There are separate dog beaches, beaches where kitesurfing is prohibited, and nudist beach sections.

Sports: Any activity on or in the water is possible, offered, and practised. There are separate areas—some for surfers, others for divers, and so on. Blowcar rides on the beach, skysurfing, canoeing, water skiing, and sailing. Everything can be tried out, rented, or learned at the schools. On the Veersedamm, which separates the Veersemeer from the North Sea, you’ll find skaters, cyclists, and skateboarders. Here, you’ll also find ice cream trucks and food carts. Outside of peak season, you can ride horses on certain parts of the beach. Horse rentals are available. - Just a few hundred metres away from all this hustle and bustle, it’s truly quiet and shaded in the Veersemeer Nature Park. Here, you’re surrounded only by walkers or cyclists—even in high season, it’s nothing but peace and nature.
On the north side of the dune dam, it’s sunny and sandy. Here, too, you can find a quiet spot right nearby, even in high season.
