Makani Sands #104 is a one Bedroom right on the ground floor where you can walk right out to grass and beach. There is a lanai off the living room that opens the ocean side. The lanai has a table and chairs so you can sit outside and sip your morning coffee, or watch the sunset. The bedroom is on the mountain side with a king bed and a TV. There is a sofa bed in the living room for an extra guest. There is a spacious kitchen with all the necessary appliances. The living room on the ocean side has a TV, DVD & CD player for your enjoyment. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Come and stay in Makani Sands condo #104, your home away from home on Maui. We are located just north of Lahaina. Other amenities include a grilling station where you can barbecue your favorite meat or fresh island fish on our waterside gas grills. This comfortable unit has cozy carpet in the living room and bedroom areas. You are also located right next to the heated pool for an afternoon swim.
This unit includes a washer and dryer for your convenience.

The unit was nice and the proximity to the beach makes it even nicer. We enjoyed several beautiful sunsets while having dinner right on the lanai. The unit was well stocked and we had everything we needed right there. It was in a great location near restaurants, shopping, and a cute beach park. The only thing is we didn’t realize until we checked in is that there was no AC in the unit, which is ended up not being a huge deal because you get a nice breeze from the ocean as long as you leave the door and the windows in the bedroom open. Would definitely stay there again.

Stay at Makani Sands

A wonderful location. Quiet ocean front lanai and a few steps to lawn chairs to enjoy the view. Also one of the best stocked condos in terms of beach chairs, towels a cooler and so on. We have been to Maui at least 25 times and have stayed at this resort a number of times. We think it is the best area of Maui to stay.

We can't imagine going back to Maui and staying anywhere else. We saw sea turtles and were able to snorkel right in front of the condo. It was a short drive to restaurants and our excursions.

It was restful and easy to navigate. We even saw a lot of sea turtles from the back sun deck! The only surprise was how Hot it was in the room st night. If we had air conditioning it would have been a perfect stay! We have already told our friends and family and would love to return in the future.

We were pleasantly surprised by the location, cleanliness, and daily maintenance (thanks Ricky) of the facility. Our unit was fully stocked, well furnished, and easy to enjoy. You can tell this is not the staff's first rodeo, as every question we had for referrals, and operations were promptly answered and excellent! This was a vacation where we could simply relax and enjoy! We will return due to the caring staff, location, and experience of staying here.

We went driving all over the island and decided Lahaina was our favorite. We definitely plan on coming back. We had everything we needed in the condo and the bed was awesome. Relaxing place for a family getaway

My wife, I and our 2 year old stayed here for just over a week in early March and would gladly return. The location was great for us with it being close to many beaches we like and great food options without the traffic or business of the bigger towns or resorts, not to mention sitting on the lanai watching the surf and whales. Tammy the manager was wonderful leading up to our trip, answering our questions and making the process very easy for us. We fit a pack n play in the bedroom with half it in the closet but had plenty of room to get around it to the bed. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed for some beach or pool time and the kitchen similarly included all manner of cookware. The pool was nicely sized, clean, and was in the morning sun/afternoon shade. Between fans and having windows open, the unit never got too warm or stuffy (temps around 80 F). We'll definitely be back!

Nice, spacious 1 bedroom (1 pullout couch too) condo right on the beach. It was literally about 40 ft from the water. Condo had it all: Boogie board, beach chair, lounge seats, bbq grill, snorkel gear...Inside it had a nice dining table, full kitchen and appliances, full bathroom, couches, and chairs. It was also nice they had multiple fans to keep the place cool. It was clean, had wifi, was decorated in islander style decor, easily located and easy to park our car. There was also a heated pool we never got a chance to try. I definitely recommend this place. Also, we saw turtles everyday, when they stopped near the rocks as they traveled up the coast. Tammy the property manager was great also. She was kind, friendly, helpful and had a good sense of humor. Great Stay! We'll be back!Stay dates: 10/1-10/6/2021Weather: 85 degrees (perfect)

Clean, well stocked, and right by the water!

We had an amazing 10 day stay here. The photos don't do the place justice! It's really clean and cozy and had everything we needed from pots and pans for cooking to beach chairs, boogie boards and coolers for drinks. Though it was very hot outside around mid day the winds and the way the unit is built to allow it to flow right through made not having an AC not a problem. The location is amazing too. There is a small beach and decent snorkeling right outside the unit. Bigger beaches and snorkeling spots (Black Rock I'm the South and Kapalua and Napiili in the North) are just 10 mins drive too. Tammy and the staff were really helpful as well. We became aware of and attended the King Kamehameha day parade thanks to them! Thanks Makani Sands for an amazing trip!

Reviewer Comments: We had such a lovely time at this unit my daughter was so excited we went to the grocery store and she baked us a chocolate cake to eat for the week! We probably won't rent a car next time I'm since the local beaches are so beautiful.Using a car service down to Lahaina was only about 10 to $15. Morning coffee with that view will never get old.

It was really great. A perfect place for the three of us.

The property was clean, in a great spot, and close to everything we needed. The only bummer was that the beach in front wasn't super accessible. You can definitely get in, but it rocky and reefy. It was beautiful to watch and listen to and very close to other beaches that are wonderful places to swim and snorkel. I would absolutely stay there again. No AC but the breeze cooled off the entire space. Also they have good fans that helped as well.
