Newly and fully renovated, this lovely guest house sits in a quiet neighborhood just blocks away from delightful downtown Tomball. Since most of our guests are couples and families transitioning from one home to another, we strive to provide you with a comfortable and stress-free place-of-in-between. That's why we call it Brightside. We want you to see the bright side of things every time you walk in the door! Brightside II is an 900 square foot guest house situated on the same property as Brightside 1, which is also another very private vacation rental. Guests will enjoy two private bedrooms that sleep 4 with room for a fifth on an inflatable, a quaint and all-new kitchen, a comfortable living area, an indoor laundry room, space for approved pets, and all the shopping and charm Tomball has to offer. You won't find a more comfortable short-term residence than our Moore Street home-away-from-home.
ABOUT THE OWNERS: Frank and Becky Thompson live just 20 minutes away and are experienced "owners" with eight other similar rentals in the area since 2015. They're very proud all of their properties have 5-star ratings, and they look forward to providing you with a similarly pleasurable experience.
BRIGHTSIDE II FEATURES:
Two bedrooms – Brand new, comfortable mattresses are on each bed. Soft quality bed linens and towels provide all the comforts of home away from home. We have a king bed in the master and twin beds in bedroom 2. There is room for an inflatable twin in either bedroom.
Living area - Comfortable seating plus a big flat screen TV with cable.
Working from home - 48" wide desks in bedrooms 1 and 2. Kitchen table also has two leaves available for extra surface area. Excellent WiFi.
Kitchen – Fully-stocked with all the necessary dishes, utensils and appliances you would need to prepare meals for your family no matter how long your stay. New appliances include a dishwasher, oven, stove, refrigerator/freezer, and microwave. Table seating is for 6. Two extra leaves are available.
Bathroom - Everything's new! Combination tub/shower. Separate vanity area has sink with large mirror and granite counter.
Cable Television & Internet Access – Basic cable, smart TV, and excellent wifi
Parking – We have off-street parking available for two cars.

Becky and Frank were amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was way roomier than we thought it would be at 800 sq ft. The house was adorable and the back yard was perfect for our dogs. I highly recommend Becky and Frank as hosts.
This house is comfortable and roomy. The neighborhood is peaceful, except for an occasional loud car and an occasional crowing rooster which we found kind of fun, and the location is easily accessible. The hostess was friendly and willing to address a couple of minor issues.
The back patio was a lovely spot to have a coffee. We also bought a travel bbq so we could cook on the patio. I would have preferred a king bed but we were quite comfortable, none the less.
Nice little place on a very quiet street. Exactly what we were looking for. We only had one minor issue that the property owner took care of immediately. Very satisfied with the rental.
We loved this place! We were in between homes and it was a very stressful time. The one thing that wasn’t stressful was our “home away from home.” We enjoyed the house, the location, and both Frank and Becky are so kind! We plan to use this anytime we need a place to stay when visiting family in Houston! Thank you for sharing this lovely place!
Our experience was fabulous! The home was very clean, the Hosts were great in assuring our comfort and they provided every necessity that a home needs. We hope to stay here again if we come back to the area. We highly recommend this place and lodging with these Hosts.
Becky the owner/host could not have been more accommodating, nice, and thoughtful. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything anyone could have wanted. It truly felt like you were living in your own home. 5+ stars.
My husband, golden doodle and I had a very nice stay at this Tomball apartment. There was a nice fenced in backyard for our dog complete with a patio set. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The owners did a great job communicating throughout our stay and we appreciated the updates they provided. The location is within walking distance to downtown Tomball and we took advantage of weekend festivals, dining, and the weekend farmer’s market. We would definitely recommend this listing to others.
My family of four (children 3 and 6) needed a place to call home for several weeks while we were in the process of selling our home in the Houston area and relocating to Austin. I have used VRBO for several years and knew I could count on it. This rental stood out as meeting our exact needs, for a great price, and it even was in a perfect location for me to commute to Austin weekly and for my wife to finish out her work in Spring just miles down the road.
The house is cozy, has every basic need covered, and the neighborhood was great. We loved visiting 403 Eats just a short walk away that had food trucks, drinks, a play area for the kids, and live entertainment. And Jerry Matheson park is just a few minutes drive away with a great park and pool open during the summer.
