The cabin was very clean and well equipped for our stay. The pool was clean and the dock was clean too. Unfortunately we had rain for most days of our stay so we couldn’t enjoy the firepit.

The cabin was easy to get to, clean, smelled good, the linens were fresh, bed was comfortable, water pressure and hot water were excellent and the accommodations were pet friendly. The kitchen was well stocked and the refrigerator was ice cold. We had an issue with the tv, notified Shawn who responded almost immediately. Overall a very nice place.

We had an outstanding time. The property was everything as described. Had one issue with the porch swing which the property owner quickly remedied. The property had more than adequate cooking equipment and seasonings than would be expected. Standard coffee pot was provided including coffee. It would be nice to have some regular coffee cups. Bedrooms were fantastic super hot showers with solid strong water pressure. water was clean and odor free. Had a great time and we’ll plan to return in the future.

We had the most wonderful family vacation at The Hawthorn on Table Rock Lake in Shell Knob, Missouri! This charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom log cabin was immaculately clean and perfectly maintained from the start.The hosts Shawn and Angie were outstanding — they took care of every single detail needed to make our stay seamless and truly enjoyable. Their thoughtful preparation and clear communication made all the difference.The location right on Table Rock Lake is unbeatable. The wonderful docks provided easy access for fishing (we caught some great ones!), and the area was fantastic for watching wildlife like birds and turtles right from the property. We especially loved watching the wonderful fireworks for the Fourth of July at Shell Knob from the dock — a magical experience!We loved the resort-style swimming pool and hot tub, the fully equipped kitchen, convenient washer, and ample onsite parking. As a pet-friendly spot (dogs and cats allowed), it was ideal for our family and our two dogs, who had a blast outdoors.Everything felt very nice and thoughtfully set up. The scenic views and peaceful setting exceeded our expectations. We’re already planning our return! If you want a clean, comfortable lakefront cabin on Table Rock Lake, book The Hawthorn — you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended!
