The Space:

This beautiful fifth-floor Gulf-front vacation rental includes floor-to-ceiling glass patio doors in both the living room and master bedroom, leading to a large patio that provides a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. Other features of this upscale and gorgeous unit include granite countertops, a full-size stainless steel refrigerator, cook top stove and oven, microwave and dishwasher, along with all the dishes, pots and utensils needed to prepare and serve meals. The dining room table has seating for six with additional bar chairs at the breakfast bar. The master bath includes a whirlpool tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity sinks. Each of the 2 bedrooms and living room all have televisions to relax each evening after enjoying a long day out on the beach. The private balcony has a table and chairs to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset. You will enjoy the breathtaking view from this unit and so much more.

Great communication with property on any issues we had. Great check in/out process. Can’t beat the location and ease of access to everything. You’ll just need to bring your own broom! Will definitely be back next year, Lord willing!

Great experience in Fort Walton Beach...the condo was spotless with plenty of room for a large family and was in a convenient location right on the beach with a great view. The resort had plenty of parking with four elevators (two in the lobby and one near each garage) that I saw and the two pools were large, clean and well maintained. Beach access was great and the management team and owner was responsive and really great to work with during the trip. I use VRBO all the time and this is one of the best experiences.

It would be worth a repeat!

Photos are accurate of what you get in person. No overdone beach theme. Simply decorated. Furnishings were simple but comfortable. King size mattress in master bedroom seemed a little hard, but that could simply be a preference thing. Washer was clean and didn’t show signs of neglect which seems to be a challenge in many condos we’ve stayed in. My only complaint would be there was a broom but no dust pan which made staying on top of the sand very difficult. Provide a dust pan, and I would truly have zero complaints! The view is absolutely STUNNING!

My only complaint is that apparently music is NOT allowed on the private balcony. We were told we had to turn our music off at 8pm by an unprofessional security guard. Nowhere in the rental agreement does it say that you can not have music, only quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am.

Okaloosa Island get away

The property was beautiful, clean and met all my expectations!! The confusing part of the renting experience was the discrepancy in the price listed versus the actual rental total. I was stressed over the difference between what I saw on the original price versus what the agreement amount said I owed. I was confused because the total price on the rental agreement said I owed $2000.00 for 4 nights but the price listed on property was $285/ night. I am now sceptical about using the site. I have used Vrbo for many trips but this was the first time I got worried about the transaction and all the paperwork I had to sign with Wyndham, I felt like I was signing my checkbook over for someone else to decide what my total bill would be without my say. And when I asked a question through the site to property manager, I got the wrong answer (I asked if the property did have a splash pad as seen in photo) and the answer came back no). I questioned the listing details because it didn’t mention the pool or splash pad!

Could be fantastic if you fire Vacasa

So, in short, this is a very nice condo with an absolutely stunning view with priceless beachfront and pool access. Made for a truly wonderful week with my kids. I would totally come back if Vacasa wasn’t in the picture. A LOT could have been improved by having a more communicative property manager. They essentially ignored me from start to finish. I reached out multiple times prior to leaving home to ask questions about what was in the condo, being that I travelled with my very young kids, ages 3 and 1. All I really wanted to know is if there were any beach toys and beach towels. I emailed them directly, I responded to an email they sent me about billing, messaged within the Vacasa app and also within the VRBO app and not one single person ever responded. I also needed to coordinate drop off of some rollaway cribs and groceries and wanted to ask questions about that and still received no help. I get that it is not their job to help with my logistics but ignoring all communication is unacceptable to me. Thankfully nothing went wrong with the condo while there but if it would’ve I have no idea how we would have gotten help. They also texted me multiple times and no one responds when you text back. They sent me a link to check out too which was useless and did not work. It linked me to the app with no way within the app to check out. The listing says towels are provided. I have stayed in upward of 10 VRBOs at various beaches across Florida and the Carolinas and have never stayed in a BEACH house/condo or OCEANfront property that did not provide beach towels. Needless to say I was not pleased to spend my first night shopping for beach towels at Publix. This was one of the questions that I had sent to them prior to leaving home that they ignored. If they would have responded at least I could have packed them. They provided one roll of paper towels, two pods for laundry, one mini bottle of dawn, two small dish towels, nothing for the dishwasher, two trash bags, a blender, toaster, coffee maker, a few skillets/pans, no spices, no basic condiments, nothing like a crock pot or anything, no baking dishes. Not that there is anything wrong with this but again, would have been helpful to know. I’ve stayed in some that are much better stocked which makes it SO much easier to actually cook real meals without going out and buying every spice and buying brand new dishes.
