We had a lovely stay! The house was inviting and clean, and the location beautiful. This is the second time we/family have stayed here and we couldn't recommend it more!
This property was perfect for my nephew’s wedding at the Washington. Everyone was jealous we were able to walk to and from the event! The house was cozy and comfortable. Fortunate we were able to stay in a rural Pennsylvania neighborhood for our first stay to the state.
The house said everything you could possibly need while you stay there. It is in a beautiful neighborhood very quiet. We really enjoyed our weekend there and it’s nice because you can bring your dog.
We think of the yellow springs house as our home away from home. We use it as a base to visit family and it was wonderful to return again this year. We love the location and the property and Chris/Alyssa are great hosts.
Absolutely awesome house for a getaway .. quaint, quiet, vintage. The property was gorgeous as well. Close to city comforts but still felt in the country. Would highly recommend.
Historical area, beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Nice clean comfortable house for a short stay. One note: WiFi doesn’t work, the manager on the record is no longer in charge. Used my personal hotspot.
We loved our brief stay at the property. The house feels warm and cozy. It was perfect to come back to after a busy I have to Alexa to Costco list Costco list day with family. I love the historic community. And we went for a long walk on the local trail.
The house was clean. We did not interact with the host as they had everything set up for easy access.
Be ready to climb some stairs and the shower is quite quirky. But we’d definitely stay there again.
Staying here was a real treat! A great place especially for those seeking a blend of weddings and relaxation. We were in town for my sister's wedding and were so happy with the charm of this rental. Also, Chris was very responsive and accommodating to our two dogs! The rich history of the place made every stroll along the paths feel like a journey through time, especially knowing that George Washington once frequented the area. Being close to top-notch restaurants and bistros meant every meal was a delight. There was never a shortage of things to do. It truly was an unforgettable experience!
Thank you Chris for the lovely stay in your place. The house is very cozy and clean, beautiful setting and easy to find. It was very well equipped and comfortable.
I booked this for friends who were in town for my wedding, and they had a wonderful time! It was a perfect weekend getaway in the country for them. Looking forward to booking again in the future!
Love this property and such a beautiful time of year to stay here! We enjoyed watching the deer and hawks...and even a baby fox!
We will be back when we visit the area again! Thank you Chris!
Great location. Comfortable beds but everything needed a good cleaning, not horrible, but lots of room for improvement. Also, no mention of so many stairs and uneven levels to each bedroom. Not great for older folks. But it worked and we enjoyed our stay.
So many nice surprises awaited us in this property and location. There were many extras supplied by the owner and interesting ways to find the correct way to access the locks, electrical outlets, television, and hallways. We enjoyed the challenges and the beautiful landscape, along with the lovely location.
We stayed with our dogs for the weekend and can’t say enough good things. The home is a gem of a property - the pictures simply don’t do it justice. Beautiful, clean, quiet, cozy, and stocked. And so magical at night with the trees all lit up outside. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again!
