Had a Short trip to Florida and stay at this house. It was perfect for what we needed. Stayed at the beach most the trip but was nice to come back to the house and relax by the pool. House was everything as it was described. Would recommend and would stay at this location again!
The bungalow was exactly as pictured and nicely decorated. Plenty of space for me and my wife and dog. Within short driving distance to all the nearby popular spots. We walked to the beach several times which was about a 5-10 minute walk depending on pace. Would definitely recommend for a small family for a great getaway.
Great house for Spring Break with my senior girls. The location could not be better. It is close to everything. Beach is super close! House is very comfortable with everything we needed. Check in and out was super easy. We had a great week!
My husband, son and I enjoyed our stay at The Bungalows at Seagrove. The neighborhood and bungalow didn’t disappoint. In fact, pictures didn’t do it justice. I would highly recommend it, especially if this will be a first time stay for you just as it was for me!!
Great location and equipped well. The sleeper siga is very uncomfortable and had white dog hair on it. The bed of the sofa had crumbs on it. The management company offered to clean but it was just too much trouble. I would stay again due to location, pool area and house overall was great but would make sure before i settled in that everything was cleaned properly.
Property was just as described. Bungalow property was well maintained. Pool was nearby and clean. We rented a golf cart which provided quick access to beach. Only issue we had was we could not get the main TV to work. Corresponded with the property manager, but was never successful in getting TV to work. Weather was nice so we were at pool or beach most of the time so this was not a big deal.
To keep this short & sweet. Our first time in this particular community & the location is fabulous! We never used the pool but it was a chilly week. The only issue we would mention is how uncomfortable the bed was & that the commodes don’t flush well. Other than those 2 things, we have absolutely no complaints about the property.
We loved the place in regards to the vibe, cleanliness, and nearness to everything. We went to some restaurants but also ate at the bungalow with groceries we got from the local Publix. What we didn't love was whenever you walk throughout the bungalow, the whole house shakes. Also, when it got really cold at night, we tried to turn the heater on which started a smokey smell, so we were afraid to use that. Wished we had brought some thicker blankets. Wi-Fi could be spotty at times, but not a deal breaker. Would still go back and stay at the bungalow for a future trip.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. This was our first time staying on 30A and such a cool, chill little town. It was very convenient to the beach, food trucks and cute shops in the town center. The neighborhood was quiet. South Walton is much less touristy. We didn't use the pool as the weather was pretty chilly during our visit. As for the house, it was so cozy and comfortable for my family of 4. The king bed was comfortable. I usually have a hard time sleeping my first night in a new place but not here! My daughters loved the bunk beds. We were also very pleased with communication from Vacasa. They reached out to us via email, text and called us on our first morning to see if we needed anything. This property was perfect for our family getaway.
This location is a beautiful private and secluded home only a 10 minute walk from the ocean and public beach. Our family and two pups had a wonderful time. The house is stocked with bath towels, pots and pans, dishes and glassware.
Note that there are no storage containers, plastic wrap or bags, so bring your own and some extra garbage bags and toilette paper.
The pool is also beautiful and well maintained with two hot tubs for use. The outside shower is located at the pool. The balcony added extra space and offered alone time throughput the day. Lots of creature sounds during the night and early morning. We loved it. Very peaceful. May want to rent some bikes or a golf cart. The walk can be very hot in the middle of the day during summer.
Fishery and butcher within walking distance. Great organic coffee bar in walking distance. Grocery store is a drive and prices very high, but worth having breakfast at home on the quiet balcony or watching the sunrise at the beach.
Definitely recommend and would come back tomorrow if I could!!
Great location and privacy. Good for snowbirds with pups
My husband and I stayed for 3 weeks in this unit (Feb. 4-24). Overall, it's in a great location - close to the beach and many restaurants. We rode our bikes (we brought our own) along 30A in both directions and explored the neighborhoods which was fun. Even though the pool wasn't heated, we enjoyed sitting/reading by it, and really liked the huge hottub. We liked that the complex was relatively small, and people were friendly. The unit needs some TLC outside: very dirty/moldy windows without screens, tree branches that brushed against the house during windy days, and trash in the marsh below the unit. We had a shutter that was banging into against the house in the back, but VACASA came out and took care of that right away. As a couple in their mid 60's, the stairs were not ideal, but we managed. We were grateful to find a place where we could bring our 2 small dogs also. Note that there is not a grill - even though the listing states that there is one. And while this won't be an issue in the warm months, we noticed that on cold nights, the downstairs was quite chilly. The thermostat is on the 2nd floor which makes it hard to regulate the temp downstairs. Plus, sitting on pilings over a marsh, the lower level is exposed to the cold air.

Carie, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're pleased that you enjoyed your stay, overall, and that our home's location served you well. That said, we apologize for the areas you felt in need of some TLC and have shared your comments with the local manager. They assured us that they have had maintenance look into these issues and will remedy them as needed. To clarify, a grill is not currently a listed amenity for this home and we apologize for any inconvenience. We truly enjoyed having you as our guest and we hope to host you again on your next getaway.
Great location and easy access to the beach. Updated and nice decor. This bungalow sits on the marsh-like water, which is not advertised. We visited in mid-May, so could’ve been the season, but the frog sounds beginning at sundown and lasting through the night could be heard well inside our bungalow. The noise was intense and seemed almost deafening at times. This, along with the next door construction noise and excessive noise from painters during the day, robbed us of any quality sleep and vacation peace we were looking for. The structure at times would sway, feeling the bed or chairs moving back and forth was unsettling. The pool is nice. None of the bungalows have back doors, back patios, or decks, which seemed a little odd but ok on ours as the view would’ve been marsh. Vacasa did a less than adequate job rectifying issues - dirty, molded shower curtain liners, rusted shower curtain rods, dripping faucets, and full-size rug rolled up against the bar seating in our way. They did replace the liners. Nothing else completed. If you decide this development is the place for you, I’m sure another bungalow away from the water would give you a better experience.
30A is a quaint peaceful area. The bungalow neighborhood fit well with the local vibe. The pool/hot tub/grounds are well maintained. The bungalow is an easy walk to a gorgeous slice (about 50 feet wide) of public beach. If you want to access a larger public beach, you'll need to drive and park .5 miles west on 30A to haul your stuff. The closest access, across the street from a Tom Thumb, is well maintained and has a shower station and stairs down to the beach. There are no restrooms. A man named "J.T.," who has lived on this slice of beach for 17 years, was very helpful and friendly. I found him intriguing. His cat Carrot has 1,800 followers on Instagram. :) The unit is thoughtfully decorated and stocked with three 55" roku TVs and ample programming. The king room is a tad cramped, but works. You can tell someone really put some time into decorating the unit. With the exception of the couch, we found it clean and adorable. (The couch is a dark navy and hasn't been cleaned properly following spills of white substances. It felt a little gross to sit on it in the middle of a pandemic.) Unfortunately, the outside of the unit with its faded, mildewed, and mismatched outdoor chairs and bisted door shutters leaves a questionable first impression and detracts from the inside. I had my inlaws with me and was a little embarrassed by this. Parking was fantastic. Access to the neighborhood and unit was great. The bungalow does sit over brackish-type spill-over lake water, as do some of the others in the complex. No mosquitoes though. The unit was well stocked with multiple drink pitchers (for tea, etc.), a blender, plenty of cookware, nice dishes, and good knives. No spices or staples of any kind were provided. Ice maker was a good one. Two beach chairs were there for use. No umbrella. Dishwasher pods and ample toilet paper were provided, but only one load worth of laundry detergent. There were plenty of clean towels for a week's stay. Check-in and checkout instructions were a breeze. Overall, I was pleased. I wish the outdoor furniture had been suitable and the cleaning service had cared enough to spot clean the couch. (I realize that's asking too much in this day and age.) Also, when I stripped the sheets. I noticed the waterproof mattress pad had been placed plastic side up, which explained why I couldn't get comfortable at night...grrr. Another cleaning service trick to cut down on laundry I'm sure.
