SEAclusion-St. John offers panoramic sunrise to sunset ocean views high up top Ajax Peak overlooking Maho and Coral Bays. We are happy to report SEAclusion suffered no major hurricane damage during Irma or Maria. SEAclusion was renovated in 2014 and includes 2 King Master bedrooms with en suite baths, full house a/c and wifi. The villa is also equipped with a whole-house generator., with plans for a solar system installation in 2025. Sitting majestically 1000 feet atop of Ajax Peak with gated privacy access on a totally paved road/driveway, SEAclusion is less than a 20 minute drive from Cruz Bay along all paved roads, and only a short drive from Coral Bay. Less than 5 minutes from the house are the white sand beaches of Maho Bay and its sister beaches. Since SEAclusion is on the ridge top we enjoy views to both East and West Horizons from Coral Bay to beyond Norman Island and then along the North Shore of St. John and the outer cays to the lights of St. Thomas in the distance.

Designed in the Traditional West Indian Great House style, SEAclusion has wonderful architectural details like the sweeping, stone stairway entrance, arched windows and wooden shutters, as well as ballast brick and stone wall detailing. Two levels, accessed by the handmade custom hardwood inside stairway, each with master suite to provide a maximum of privacy for couples or two families. As you enter the villa the great room is to your right through the expansive, stone arch and offers comfortable furniture to lounge and enjoy the panoramic views. Two 12 foot sliding doors (facing to the south and west) bring in the views of Coral Bay, the north shore, and all the way out to St. Thomas. Directly ahead is the newly remodeled, well equipped kitchen with TV, hardwood cabinets, granite countertops, and new appliances. The kitchen provides an indoor dining area with optional bar seating overlooking Coral Bay Harbor - or dine outdoors off the deck to enjoy the sunset over St. Thomas. You can also gather for pool side dining complete with gas grill to take in that amazing view all the way out to East End, Norman Island and beyond! SEAclusion St. John has decks that wrap entirely around the house so you can adjust your location to take full advantage of the varying sunlight and views on our new deck furniture - comfy outdoor chairs, sectionals and chaise lounges for the deck spaces.

Each of the king master suites has a wonderful mix custom furnishings, a/c, new king mattresses in 2024, spacious walk-in closets and en suite bath. Both suites enjoy similar views over Coral Bay and beyond, while the lower suite enjoys a covered veranda with quick access to the pool. The lower level family room has desk and satellite TV. The pool deck is spacious with lounge chairs, dining area, lush garden areas and that incredible view to Coral Bay and beyond - complete with in ground, concrete 24' x 12' x 4.5' deep salt sanitization (non-chlorine) swimming pool.

Last but by no means least, is the roof-top terrace with large built-in bench, accessed by custom indoor, hardwood ladder; the panoramic views here are truly magnificent!

SEAclusion's central island location is ideal for travelers who truly want to experience all St. John has to offer. From the excitement of Cruz Bay, the beautiful beaches of the North Shore, numerous hiking trails, awesome snorkeling sites, to the private and pristine beaches of the southeast and the charm of Coral Bay -- SEAclusion provides fast and easy access to all as well as a private and beautiful retreat to call home at the end of the day.

The view from this villa is INCREDIBLE!! The breezes made the villa comfortable without needing the A/C. We could have completely enjoyed our stay without ever leaving Seaclusion, but it is also very conveniently located to all the island so we explored as much of it as possible. The snorkeling was fabulous with the most beautiful coral we've seen, plenty of sea turtles and tropical fish, an even a few nurse sharks! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely Perfect Place! The house was ideal - perfectly placed on top of Ajax Peak and easy to get to ... easy access to the beaches, easy to get to Coral Bay, a perfectly located house with spectacular 360 degree views! This home was absolute perfection for our family of 4. We have 2 kids (7 and 9) and the house was set up great for us. It is hard to find a home on St. John where all the bedrooms are under one roof and this one does just that. The house was well appointed and the views are breathtaking. I would recommend this to anyone.

We enjoyed our week long stay at SEAclusion and can't wait to return! We traveled with our parents and our 1 year old, so having a full kitchen, laundry, and 2 master suites make it easy on everyone. There are multiple seating areas (outdoors and indoors) with beautiful views so everyone can spread out if needed. The location was perfect for beach going. Beautiful ocean views out of every room and rooftop deck with 360 degree views! The paved roads and gated access were a plus! The property manager was nearby and was easy to reach when needed. We didn't us the pool because of the weather, but it's nice to have and wish we used it more! Thanks for a great vacation, SEAclusion!

Mountaintop Paradise

Our eight-night stay at SEAclusion was a fantastic experience! The communication with the owner and manager prior to the visit was like no other with a welcome video and app that described the property and local attractions. The home renders views to beautiful Maho Bay and across to St. Thomas to the north and Coral Bay to the southeast. The home has wraparound decks with multiple seating areas for afternoon naps, reading, and outdoor dining. The kitchen is well-equipped and well-stocked with seasonings. The pool is quite large and beautiful with plenty of loungers and outdoor sectionals. The air-conditioned bedrooms are both master suites with their own en suite bathrooms and closets. Too many extras to mention but include beach chairs, ice chests, huge laundry room, satellite TV, vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling glass, etc. Overall, this property is an extraordinary destination in itself. One could stay here and enjoy and incredible vacation and never need to leave. Of course the beaches aren't to be missed. Thank you Michele for such a great experience! We will be back!

Vacation Extraordinaire!

Seaclusion is an amazing vacation home that is truly one of a kind - the pictures, while beautiful, don't do justice to this wonderful place. We placed a deposit for our vacation last fall prior to the hurricane hitting the island. Michelle, the owner, provided us with frequent updates on the status of the island over the following months. Based on these communications, we decided to continue with our plans to visit St John in February and we are so glad that we did!! The house , with its 360 degree views of the Caribbean (check out the widow's walk!) , is spectacular. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and the double decker porches were meant for relaxing. While there is still evidence of some hurricane damage on the island, we found the amazing restaurants and shops of St John open and ready for business. From seeing an impromptu performance by Kenny Chesney at the Sun Dog Café to sailing with Captain Max, our stay was fantastic! Michelle, Seaclusion's owner, was so helpful, arranging transportation from the airport to the ferry with Bazille, the best taxi driver(and tour guide) ever! Once on St John, Roseanne and Wayne, Michelle's island hosts, led us to the house and attended to our every question and request throughout the week. We definitely plan on a return visit to St. John and Seaclusion in the near future!!

Heaven On Earth!

My husband and I, along with several different family members, have been vacationing on St. John since we discovered this beautiful island over 20 years ago. In all of our years here, we have never stayed in the same villa twice.....that is, until now, and our wonderful SEAclusion experience! Between the time we made our reservation and our arrival date, STJ was hit with two devastating storms. Over the course of the storm and for the months that followed, owner Michele kept us informed of the damage and progress in 'putting the island back together again'. Thankfully, their villa, built like a fortress, made it through the storm with only minor damage to the decking and foliage.....we fully understood how and why it made it through two Category 5 storms once we arrived.....it is as solid as could be! This communication was vital as our five week vacation the following summer was hanging in the balance. I can't say enough good about Michele through this uncertain time. Happily, we arrived on STJ as planned and spent five glorious weeks in a fabulous villa.....overlooking Coral Bay and Maho/Frances Bays with views all the way to St. Thomas.....does it get any better than this? Michele and Dave have done an incredible job designing a perfect way to enjoy the beauty of the Caribbean with all the modern comforts and amenities. We entertained two sets of family members during our stay.....each of us having our own 'floors' and 'decks', so we were able to enjoy some solitude every day before and after we enjoyed the modern kitchen together and the beaches in between. Maho and Frances, our two favorites, were an easy 5 minutes away. We were able to view the parking lot at Maho from SEAclusion, so we always knew when to leave to be ensured of convenient parking there. While there is no doubt that the underwater world of St. John suffered from the hurricanes, we were delighted to find representation of all of the corals, fish and sea life in various stages of rebuilding. We saw more turtles than we have ever seen at Maho......and were delighted by so many young turtles......you didn't even have to make an effort to find them. Simply float.....within minutes, they are below you! Heaven on Earth! The location turned out to be perfect.....we loved the breezy coolness.....kept us cool and the flying pests away. Very comfy beds. Caretakers Wayne & Roseanne are fabulous.....very responsive and eager to please. It was perfect! We can't wait to return

The Perfect Villa

SEAclusion is the perfect villa and you should look no further! We were looking for the perfect spot in St. John/Paradise! We had never been to USVI and this vacation we decided to bring our 3 daughters and our biggest critics! (7, 10, and 12 yrs. old) We couldn't afford to be wrong! I looked at several villas on-line and elected to contact a few----Literally within hours Michele had contacted me and provided me with all the details I needed to help make my decision. She walked me through everything, step by step. She then guided me through the rental process and made it a breeze. She gave me her cell number and was always available for question/answer sessions. She help arrange our taxi services and our rental jeep! FIRST CLASS SERVICE. I think as travelers/consumers you always fear a bit things that are too good to be true, usually are. But when we arrive in St. Thomas our taxi was waiting. They quickly brought us to the ferry and 20 mins later we are in Paradise. The best part: waiting for us was Jim the caretaker of SEAclusion. We had a flight delay of over 2 hrs; arriving after 6pm so nearly all businesses closed for the day. But Jim went and got our jeep for us! Then took us to the grocery store so we could pick up everything we needed. From there he lead us to the Villa. He lives close by and is always available to help; although, unseen unless needed, you just know you're in good hands! The home is located at the top of Ajex Peak. The pictures are accurate but no where near how beautiful it is in person: the view, the pool, and the decor! Absolutely gorgeous. It's safe and secure location (gated drive); very important to me with my young family. Most importantly you are located near the top which brings the famous tradewinds through the villa! This also means very few bugs/mosquitos and no need to turn on the AC! The Wifi was fantastic along with Dish TV. All the appliances were in working condition and they had snorkel gear, beach toys, beach chairs, coolers, and towels available for our use. The location was ideal. 5 min drive to Maho Beach and a short drive from there Cinnamon, Trunk, and Hawksnest! Also a quick ~10 min drive to Coral Bay to a nice grocery store, fun restaurants and bars! It's an easy trip to Cruz Bay for first class shopping and eating! My family had an amazing time! The kids loved it! You simply can't go wrong with SEAclusion, book today---we will be back!

Amazing!

This place is gorgeous! The first thing we said when we walked in was that it looked even better in person than it did in the photos. The views from the house are incredible. We spent most of our evenings sitting on the deck enjoying the sunsets. The house had everything we needed including chairs and a canopy for the beach. This was our first time on St. John and I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return.

Fantastic House

We really enjoyed our stay at SEAclusion. The property was very well stocked. The kitchen has a wide range of spices, pots/pans, and Tupperware. Beach supplies include beach towels, beach chairs, numerous coolers, an insulated thermos, and some beach toys. We really appreciated the fact that both bedrooms are under the same roof with internal access - we traveled with our young child, so this was important to us. The house gets a great breeze, and we only ran the A/C when we went to bed (A/C works great). The property management company did a great job answering all of our questions and handling some concierge requests. The location is also great - an easy 10 minute drive to Coral Bay and to Maho. The house’s location makes it easy to beat the Cruz Bay crowds to the north shore beaches. We highly recommend SEAclusion as a great small family house. The house was perfect for us, and we will definitely consider it the next time we travel to St. John. Thanks to the owner and property manager for a great stay!

Dream vacation villa!

Pictures just do not do justice to the incredible views SEAclusion offers! Amazing sea views from both inside and outside...rainbows almost every day. The villa is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Had to close my eyes when we first climbed the steep driveway! Michele is an absolute DREAM hostess. She gave us an abundance of information to prepare for our arrival and we knew that any help we might need while there was just a phone call away from her onsite team. Thank you for a fabulous vacation...we WILL be returning!!!

This property is amazing! The views of both Maho Bay and Coral Bay were spectacular--sunrise over one and sunset over the other. What's not to love?! The pool was an added bonus, but ease of access to beautiful beaches was nice, too. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Best VRBO we have ever stayed!

This property was over the top, literally! It is located on top of one of the highest peaks on the island and has spectacular views of Coral Bay, the BVIs, St. Thomas, Maho Bay and more. Every patio you stand on has a different unbelievable view! We felt welcome in their home, as that is truly was it was - not just some rental property. There were books, St. John guidebooks, cooking spices, any kitchen amenity needed, beach and pool accessories, yoga mats, reading lights, travel water cups! I only wish I would have known all the extra conveniences and would have packed a little lighter. The property manager lives nearby and was available via text for any questions we had. They were prompt to respond and very personable. If you are looking at other properties on the island, this is hands down the one to choose! We travel often and go to new places every year. This house is so amazing that we plan to return.

It is all about the views...

...and tranquility of being in paradise! We stayed at Seaclusion on St. John for our Honeymoon. Everything about our experience was fantastic. The Seaclusion was beautiful and in fantastic shape. There are so many places to sit and take in amazing views both inside and outside the home. The crows nest on the roof was our favorite! We sat up their most nights watching amazing sun sets. The owners and management company were great to work with! They were vey helpful in guiding us as we planned our trip. We highly recommend staying at Seaclusion and plan to come back soon!

Truly an amazing trip to St John, and couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else on the Island other then SeaClusion. There are truly no words to describe the views. The only thing you fight about here is which view is best, and what beach to go to. Conveniently located 20 minutes from Cruz Bay and 10 minutes from Coral Bay. Easy access to all over the island. Some of our favorite beaches: Maho (7mins from house), Hawksnest and Frances. Coral Bay favorite restaurant Rhumb Lines, and Cruz Bay Extra Virgin. Favorite hike: Rams Head.

Views Views Views .... only arguments here are deciding which view is the best! Ultimate rest and relaxation! My wife and I spent our honeymoon here for 11 days and wouldn’t imagine staying anywhere else on the island. Although located a 1000ft up, you are only 10 minutes from Coral Bay Restaurants (Rhumb Lines our favorite), 20 minutes from Cruz Bay (Extra Virgin our favorite restaurant). Closest beach Maho which happened to be one of our favorites is 7 minutes from house. Highly recommend and Michele couldn’t be easier to deal with, answering any questions we may have had. Thankful and blessed to have been able to stay in this beautiful home!

Wonderful House and Location

This is probably our 7th or 8th stay at this house over the past decade. We had been renting it from the original owner who built the house, and we were thrilled when the new owners continued renting out this paradise on the island. Now This is a Beautiful Place to Stay.....

Debbie and I along with friends of ours from the Twin Cities stayed at SEAclusion the last week of January, 2019. Our timing was perfect as a Polar Vortex brought teeth chattering sub-zero cold and snow to the Great Lakes region while we were all enjoying the panoramic views from the wrap-around decks of the villa. Where does one begin to describe all the great aspects of SEAclusion? The location is perfect for those who enjoy the quiet side of St John high above Coral Bay on Ajax Peak. Watching the sun rise over the East End and set over St. Thomas always made us pause and enjoy the natural beauty of the setting. The quality of the villa's construction was fabulous with attention to detail everywhere one looked. The furnishings were all well thought out to make every room in the villa a place to relax and enjoy. And of course, the state-side property owners and on-site property management were all extraordinary from the beginning of our trip planning until the very end of our stay. Excellent communications throughout which made our stay at SEAclusion so enjoyable.

Heaven On Earth!

My husband and I, along with several different family members, have been vacationing on St. John since we discovered this beautiful island over 20 years ago. In all of our years here, we have never stayed in the same villa twice.....that is, until now, and our wonderful SEAclusion experience! Between the time we made our reservation and our arrival date, STJ was hit with two devastating storms. Over the course of the storm and for the months that followed, owner Michele kept us informed of the damage and progress in 'putting the island back together again'. Thankfully, their villa, built like a fortress, made it through the storm with only minor damage to the decking and foliage.....we fully understood how and why it made it through two Category 5 storms once we arrived.....it is as solid as could be! This communication was vital as our five week vacation the following summer was hanging in the balance. I can't say enough good about Michele through this uncertain time. Happily, we arrived on STJ as planned and spent five glorious weeks in a fabulous villa.....overlooking Coral Bay and Maho/Frances Bays with views all the way to St. Thomas.....does it get any better than this? Michele and Dave have done an incredible job designing a perfect way to enjoy the beauty of the Caribbean with all the modern comforts and amenities. We entertained two sets of family members during our stay.....each of us having our own 'floors' and 'decks', so we were able to enjoy some solitude every day before and after we enjoyed the modern kitchen together and the beaches in between. Maho and Frances, our two favorites, were an easy 5 minutes away. We were able to view the parking lot at Maho from SEAclusion, so we always knew when to leave to be ensured of convenient parking there. While there is no doubt that the underwater world of St. John suffered from the hurricanes, we were delighted to find representation of all of the corals, fish and sea life in various stages of rebuilding. We saw more turtles than we have ever seen at Maho......and were delighted by so many young turtles......you didn't even have to make an effort to find them. Simply float.....within minutes, they are below you! Heaven on Earth! The location turned out to be perfect.....we loved the breezy coolness.....kept us cool and the flying pests away. Very comfy beds. Caretakers Wayne & Roseanne are fabulous.....very responsive and eager to please. It was perfect! We can't wait to return!

Perfect Villa, Perfect Vacation!

Seaclusion was the perfect Villa for my family! When we decided to take our 3 daughters (12, 10, and 7) on a dream vacation to St. John; I was very worried about making it special. Granted you're in beautiful St. John- but the place you stay can really make or break a vacation. All that worry was alleviated the minute we set foot in Seaclusion! The home was absolutely gorgeous. The pictures are accurate but are nowhere near the true beauty of the villa or views. Modern appliances, beautiful granite countertops, high end construction, large sliding glass doors that can literally open the side of the house to the outdoors, and very comfortable beds. Satellite TV and Wifi were a big hit with the kids! The pool was clean, well maintained, refreshing, and a wonderful way to finish the day. Location: perfect. Gated-drive provided that extra security and the villa is at the top of Ajax Peak. The famous trade wind makes turning on the AC (available) unnecessary! Also keeps the mosquitos to a minimum! 5 min drive to Maho Bay, a couple mins later you're at Cinnamon and Trunk Beach! ~10 min drive to groceries and adult beverages, and ~20 mins to ferry (Cruz Bay). We rented a Jeep in St. John and highly recommend it. Easy to navigate the island! Michele and Dave, the owners, were very thorough, always available, and handheld us through the rental/booking process. They went out of their way to ensure our every need was met and exceeded. First class service. Jim, the on-site property manager, was absolutely the best. Instrumental in making our stay perfect. Only seen when needed--- but always available. Overall, it was an incredible vacation. Memories to last a lifetime and Seaclusion was a huge part of it! Rent this villa without hesitation, you will not be disappointed.

Ideal Island Stay

Seaclusion was the perfect home for our St John vacation. The photos are accurate but the home is even better than a photo can capture--the high quality construction, hand-carved mahogany staircase to the rooftop, furnishings, and outstanding views in complete privacy and quiet. There is a clean pool and extra large hammock for relaxing. The kitchen has full panoramic views, as well as multiple decks with even more views. For us, peaceful Ajax Peak was the best location for easy access to all parts of the island. We especially appreciated making a quick trip to the North Shore to be the first ones in the water for a morning snorkel or an early evening snorkel at Maho or Trunk Bays after the crowds have left. Sunsets and star gazing from the rooftop deck, what a great way to end a full day of snorkeling and exploring. Birds, butterflies, and deer were welcome visitors. Constant breezes kept away mosquitoes. I would not hesitate to return, as I can't imagine a more ideal home or island location. Many thanks for a perfect stay.

As a couple and with our friends & family, we have visited St. John for a few years now, the first time during a cruise ship stop which docked over on St. Thomas. By jumping on a cab and taking the Red Hook ferry, it was an easy escape from the hustle and bustle of St. Thomas to the true island paradise of St. John! We immediately fell in love with the natural beauty of the island and the people there!

St. John was even more precious to us, as we were born and raised in the Midwest without the luxury of year-round warm temperatures, beautiful Caribbean beaches, and the care-free lifestyle of island living. So it wasn't too hard to resist the temptation of buying our own piece of island paradise.

We have a large family and full-time commitments (jobs) back in the States, so we can not enjoy the island as much as we'd like to right now... that is why we wish to share our piece of paradise with you and hope that you, too, will come to love the island as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We chose SEAclusion - St. John primarily for its location. The central island location provides quick access to the North Shore beaches, numerous hiking trails, and the great restaurants in both Coral & Cruz Bay.

During our first few visits to St. John we stayed near Cruz Bay thinking we would be closer to all the island's best attractions. However, that theory quickly vanished when we stayed at SEAclusion and discovered its location was closer to most of the beautiful North Shore beaches than our previously rentals had been in Cruz Bay. Maho Bay is less than 2 miles or 5 minute drive away from the villa; and the beaches of Cinnamon, Trunk, & Hawksnest are just a few minutes beyond to the west on Route 20. In addition, some of the best snorkeling sites and scenic hiking trails on the island are found in the central to east side of St. John. The close proximity to the charming & unique restaurants in Coral Bay, complement the fine restaurants in Cruz Bay and provide a greater selection when going out for a night on the town!

Lastly, but perhaps most important - we chose this property with for its amazing Sunrise to Sunset ocean views! Situated high up on Ajax Peak the property boosts prime views over Coral Bay, the East End & beyond to the BVIs in the southeast; and then to the northwest for views of Maho, Cinnamon, the outer cays and beyond to St. Thomas for gorgeous sunsets. These views can be seen from inside the villa to outside the villa on its wrap around decks & also from the roof-top terrace.
