Our check in experience with Avari was very frustrating. They are super difficult to get ahold of in a timely manner. Their message system is not prompt either. Other than that we absolutely loved staying at this house and had such a special and wonderful time.

We stayed on the island and visited with friends in Bayou la Batre. We spent a lot of time on the beach and riding the bicyckes provided. The house stayed nice and cool and was centrally located. 10/10 would recommend

House is clean and bright! Everything you need is there and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Definitely recommend this spot! Many extras also: 2 kayaks, gas grill and a golf cart for rent.

A retreat you don't want to leave

We stayed at this beautiful place last memorial day, and i think we are gonna book it again this memorial day! My guest and i felt so at home, we wanted to add days on to our trip last year and stay longer, but someone was booked right after us. 😞

Lovely Place

This is a very pretty property and the beach access is great, especially since the place comes with parking passes for some of the beaches. Having a washer and dryer was handy. The beds and bedding were comfortable and the AC worked well. I did miss towel racks in the bathrooms and some place to put clothes in the bedroom with the queen bed. Dauphin Island is the place to go for a relaxing vacation.

First time, great time at DI

Everything was seamless when it came to reservations, check in and check out. Perfect size for my husband and I and our dachshunds. Super clean. Updated. Bed was a little smaller than we would have liked and the eagles nest was under repair. I wish there had been instructions on where to best have walking access to the beach and we had more of a beach view like that listing said. The beach view can only be seen from the eagles nest. Host checked in via texts and left a sweet note. Would definitely recommend for a small family or couple like us.
