You may have read about the roads in Costa Rica and how bad they are, the access to Papagayo Hills is on a mud road. For these roads, you need a suitable vehicle. Give us a heads up 30 min before arrival so we can organize Luis, our security, to open up. Best is to plan to arrive before 1pm when the roads are still dry, as the rainfall usually occurs in the afternoon.
