About this property

Superior rural accommodation Molino la Nava

ED Refnr. 2827388

Our old oil mill from the 18th century was carefully restored to offer the exquisiteness of a rural accommodation of the highest quality, ideal to rest and disconnect. Molino la Nava is located in a privileged and wonderful environment, the Cerro de la Nava in the upper Guadalquivir, at the foot of Sierra Morena, where you can do many activities such as active hiking (with zip lines and ropes), visits to caves, search and tasting of mushrooms, bird watching (it is one of the few areas of the peninsula where you can see the Imperial eagle) canoeing or canyoning. All of them are designed to enjoy and have fun with family or friends and get to know the fauna and flora of the area, which leaves no one indifferent. We also have the privilege of having the largest population of Iberian Lynx and we organise routes in search of this unique animal that allow our guests to learn about their habits and customs and with luck, be able to see them and take unique photos! And we do not forget about astrology lovers, as our area has been declared a Starlight Reserve by UNESCO and every night an infinite number of stars decorate our sky to the delight of all our guests. For all these reasons, Molino La Nava is the perfect place for those who want to discover new places and let themselves be surprised...

Outside you can enjoy a large patio, a swim in the pool, our chill out area with hammocks, Balinese beds, tree house or simply stroll around the surroundings.
The night is magical because you can observe the starry sky at its best, we have the starlight certification so we have the best sky to see the stars. We have laundry service, free cot available and documentation about the area.

This cottage has a spacious living area with a fireplace. There is also an outdoor terrace with views of the sunset and the surrounding olive groves, a reading room, a games room, a TV room and our beautiful restaurant a la carte or tasting menu. On the first floor you will find eight bedrooms, each different and individually decorated in a classic and elegant style. All rooms have heating, air conditioning, bathroom with shower, television, telephone, WIFI, safe, bathrobe and toiletries. We have a room for people with reduced mobility.

Montoro, located just 8km from the accommodation, is a traditional Andalusian village characterised by its narrow streets and friendly atmosphere. Here you can find excellent restaurants and tapas bars.

The restaurant is open all year round and is open to the general public. The dining room is located where olives used to be milled and oil used to be stored, preserving its old stones and machines. It stands out for its market, Mediterranean and creative cuisine, perfectly blending tradition, innovation and sophistication. It includes bar and cafeteria service.

Dog Friendly

We stayed here last year liked it so much we came back. Nice, quiet and dog friendly. Great food and very attentive staff. Couldn’t do more! Compared to last year we had a much better room with a private terrace, great for dog. Some minor points would be more attention to detail in rooms. Other guests are quiet and respectful, a restful break.
