This was such a cute place. Clean, comfortable and homey. Would stay again. Had everything needed for the weekend stay and Josh was very quick to reply to any questions I had.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at this VRBO! The house was exactly as described in the listing, very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed. The price was excellent for what we received. The host was very accommodating and easy to work with, especially when we asked to extend our stay an extra night … he made the process simple and hassle-free. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and we would definitely stay here again!

The photos don't do this property justice. The review asks how accurate the property listing is and I didn't want to mark the stars down, but it actually is not very accurate because the place is adorable and the photos don't show this. The beds were A! Very impressed! Location perfect for Spooky Nook basketball tournament. The extra bath downstairs was convenient. Kitchen and rooms had everything we needed!

Exceptionally clean home. Thoughtful updates throughout the house. Stocked bathroom, kitchen and a nice, private porch. Easy entry access and plenty of parking on street along with one spot in gravel driveway. Lots of lighting throughout the house (including dimmable main lights). Modern appliances and everything worked totally fine. The tub/shower is great - better than the one I have at home! Note - both bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are steep which may be difficult for some kids/adults or a pet to navigate. But we had no issues. I appreciated the modern baby gate option for the stairs - just another example of how considerate Host Josh is when designing the rental. Josh was attentive at beginning and end of our stay and checked in (via message) during to see how we were doing. We didn't need assistance during the stay but I'm sure if we did Josh would have helped quickly!

Honest but Fair VRBO Review**Pros:**The property had a great kitchen, big TVs, and a really nice laundry room. The toilets were also surprisingly great! Communication with the host was effective once everything was sorted out.**Cons:**Unfortunately, the experience getting to the property was frustrating. I was initially told just three days before my trip that I would not be able to stay at the property. I asked to cancel so I could have enough time to find another place, but that request was not accommodated. I was eventually told that I *was* able to stay, which left me scrambling and uncertain about my trip.I also requested an early check-in, but ultimately wasn't able to check in until around **6:30 PM**.During the stay, the Wi-Fi was inconsistent and seemed to work primarily on the TVs but not reliably on other devices. The air conditioning was also an issue. It wouldn't consistently stay at the temperature we set, and the upstairs area would get pretty hot.Maybe this was just a one-time experience, and I hope these issues aren't typical of the property. There were definitely some things I really liked about the house, but overall, **the stay was not the best experience for me, honestly.**

We take pride in delivering a clean, comfortable experience, but we want to clarify several points for future guests: Last-Minute Booking & Turnaround: Booking an extended stay on short notice requires rapid coordination. We were transparent about undergoing an intensive turnaround clean to ensure the property met high standards. While we accommodated the reservation and issued a courtesy refund for the inconvenience, early check-in simply was not feasible on that timeline. Clear communication was maintained throughout the process. Wi-Fi Stability: Our property is equipped with high-speed internet designed for multi-device streaming and remote work. Severe local thunderstorms during this period caused a brief, temporary service disruption that affected the wider area. Climate Control: The central AC is programmed to maintain a reliable 72°F. During peak 90°F heat, you were setting the thermostat significantly lower causing the system to run continuously and overload the circuit. Under normal operation, the home cools evenly and effectively. We go to great lengths to accommodate our guests and set clear expectations, and we remain dedicated to providing a top-tier stay at the Birdhouse.
