This quiet holiday rental, with garden access on two sides, is located in the historic annex overlooking the castle. Our castle is situated directly on the Waldviertel Kamptal Bicycle Trail, and the nearest swimming lake—the Thurnberg Reservoir—is about 11 km away. As our guest, you’ll enjoy free admission to the museum and can take advantage of a wide range of recreational activities at the castle—for example, try out the games in the game exhibition, become a “judge” in the exhibition on the judiciary, practice historical writing in the Grillparzer Rooms, experience a “spooky” moment in the Ancestral Woman’s Grotto, or explore the Dwarf Garden—and much more... The former residence of our castle steward and judge offers space for two people; an elegant living room with a kitchenette invites you to enjoy relaxing days! The spacious vaulted rooms offer a cosy atmosphere. Windows on both sides offer views of the gardens and the castle. The apartment consists of a double bedroom and a large living room with a kitchenette. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink. A hair dryer is provided. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, a two-burner stove, and a steam cooker. There is a coffee maker and an electric kettle. A deposit of 30% may be charged after booking. The remaining balance is to be paid in cash on site. Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; check-out is by 10:00 a.m. Keys will be handed over in person upon arrival. Pets are allowed but are not permitted on the furniture. Surcharge: EUR 5.00 per day
