Spend the most precious time of the year in the heart of the beautiful Pfaffenwinkel region in our holiday rental in the idyllic hamlet of Hofen/Birkland, about 9 km from Peiting. Here, nestled among three traditionally run farms, you can enjoy “the countryside at its finest.” <br>The nearest store is 6 km away. Farmers’ markets are held regularly in Schongau, Peiting, and Weilheim. The traditional Neuwirt inn is within walking distance, as is the fine-dining restaurant “Zauberhütte,” which offers a magnificent view of the Alps. The nearest swimming lake with a garden restaurant (Engelsrieder Weiher) is about a 20-minute bike ride away.<br><br>The bright holiday apartment for 1–3 people is located on the ground floor of a historic small farmhouse. It was renovated in 2020, incorporating modern amenities (bathrooms, heating, kitchen) while preserving the building’s historic character. The goal during the renovation was to maintain a rustic feel in the rooms without creating a kitschy country-house atmosphere. The numerous views of the property—certified as a natural garden—with its old apple trees and cottage garden make the rooms bright and airy. The apartment’s terrace is sunny and sheltered under a pergola on the west side of the building.<br>Amenities: separate entrance, spacious rooms, living area with a kitchenette, fold-out sofa, double bed (180x200 cm) with high-quality mattresses, fold-out extra bed (for children) available. <br>Shower and toilet (both with windows) in separate rooms, fully equipped kitchen<br>TV, radio, and reliable Wi-Fi are available.
