About the host
Hosted by Phi Helmuth
My wife and I have been married 42 years and have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren. My parents were Amish and my wife was adopted in Brazil by a single Amish lady. Our faith has always been a very big part of our family. I was in the school system serving as the athletic director and basketball coach for 30 years, first at a private high school and then at a large inner city public high school. We have been coming to the property since the 1990s having been invited here by the owners. We purchased the property in January of 2024 and had the house totally renovated by using Amish & Mennonites to complete the work. It is our hope that you have a great time at the property! We have 2 goals for your stay: that you become closer to God and your family during your stay......
Sincerely,
Phil & Elena Helmuth

Why they chose this property
We had friends that owned the property about 30 years ago and loved it from day 1.
What makes this property unique
The property is on a unique 63 acre Creekside Mountain Valley Estate that has a very large 6br/6b house on a loud creek perfect for listening to its soothing sounds as well as providing an amazing place for the kids to play. There is also a stocked trout fishing pond, lighted pickleball/basketball court as well as plenty of open space to play and 2 miles of walking trails.
