This holiday rental is the second one on the 2,000-square-meter property; it was completely renovated in 2020 and is located on the ground floor. With its 60 square metres of space, it is laid out to include a living room and two bedrooms (the first bedroom has a double bed, and the second bedroom has a pull-out double bed). 
It is just a few metres from the Alte Havel River, where you can access the federal waterway by boat and find ideal conditions for water excursions across lakes and canals—boat and canoe rentals are available in town. 
The nearest town, Wesenberg, is 4 km away and features two supermarkets, a drink store, a post office, a savings bank, a petrol station, restaurants, and Wesenberg Castle, which houses the tourist information office.



Our two holiday apartments are located on the edge of the Müritz National Park, with its many small, idyllic, clear, and fish-rich lakes as well as forests, where you can still spot animals such as kingfishers, white-tailed eagles, great blue herons, and plenty of wildlife. This area, rich in forests and water, is perfect for biking, swimming, boating, water sports, hiking, and fishing—making it ideal for unwinding from the stresses of everyday life. Fishing permits are available in town at the fisherman’s stand or at the Wesenberg Tourist Information Office, where you can also obtain a tourist fishing licence. 
At the only surviving house bridge in northern Germany, spanning Drewensee Lake in Ahrensberg—right next to the local fisherman’s shop—you can comfortably pass the time with a light fish snack by the canal while watching the boats go by.
