About this property

Beautiful, spacious and very bright 6-person villa with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a sauna in Overijssel.

The vacation home is located in the park Buitengoed 't Lageveld, in a quiet location with a large recreational lake with all kinds of facilities for young and old. In the wooded surroundings you can make beautiful cycling trips. The house was completed in 2021 and is fully equipped. The bedroom on the first floor has its own bathroom with shower. There is also a separate toilet on the first floor. Upstairs are the 2 other bedrooms and the 2nd bathroom with shower and sauna. There is also a second separate toilet on the floor.

You can relax in the garden with the available garden furniture. Part of the terrace is covered, here you can park your bikes and/or garden furniture.

Next to the park is a bathing lake (36 ha), during the summer months a bathing and leisure paradise. The resort has many services to offer: Bike rental and activities for children during school vacations. For rent on request: Crib, chair and towels. Excursion possibilities: Hellendoorn adventure park, Slagharen pony park, Deventer and Enschede. Also visit the indoor swimming pool in Wierden, which offers wellness with sauna, whirlpool and Turkish steam bath.

For stays of several weeks, the bed linen is changed weekly (cost per week).

Better for Locals

As someone flying in from the US, this was not the easiest place to go. The reception is only open a couple of hours each day. Our flight was delayed and there was no way we could have made it during the 2 hour window. Fortunately, we have family in Wierden who could go and get the keys for us. Also be aware that nothing is included. You pay extra for bedding (per person) and then you have to make your own beds when you arrive after traveling for 15 hours. We didn't realize from the listing that no towels are included, and again the reception was closed for the day so we had no towels. They charge you if you run the dishwasher before you leave but do not wait to empty it. 10 Euro to empty the clean dishes for you. The cabin was nice. We had a 2 story, 3 bedroom cabin with a really nice kitchen, living and dining area. This seems better for people who are local and driving there. Not much to do there either, no market, restaurant, etc. on site.
