This place is awesome! We were looking to escape the city for a few days and enjoy some fishing and the outdoors. Super relaxing and quiet. Definitely recommend.

This place is extremely private and secluded. It's the perfect place to get away from everything. It was not too buggy outside considering it's mid Iowa summer. Comfortable beds. No road noise. The only noises were cows in the distance and birds. I will definitely be back.

We had such a relaxing and peaceful weekend. This was our second visit and will definitely be back again. The weather was over 100 but with all the shade from the trees and being on the water it was perfect. We strolled the lake on the canoe several times and enjoyed all the wildlife. Sitting on the dock and by the fire at night was just what we wanted from this vacation

This property is the perfect little haven. My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday here, and it was so much more than we could’ve hoped for. It was serene, with lots of nature activity from frogs, fish, turtles, and birds. The home itself is pristine, modern and had everything we needed. We loved sitting by the camp fire, playing yard games, grilling, and our favorite was taking the canoe out for an afternoon of fishing. Pure bliss. Karen went above and beyond by honoring a special request as well. We LOVED this place and can’t wait to return.
