First the positives: Nice quiet neighborhood only one block off main drag. Layout very comfortable for 3 adults. Hot tub was excellent. Nice fenced backyard area. Kitchen is well stocked although only spatula is metal. Didn't want to use on the ceramic surface of the frying pan so we had to get creative.Challenging issues: We got text message stating room was available for early check-in. But when we tried door code it didn't work. Sent a text and got a toll-free number to call. Person that answered only wanted to sell us Life Alert. ?!?!?!?Then got message on VRBO saying to call different number. That person told us the door code didn't work because it wasn't 4pm yet. Explained we got text that we could check in early. She said she's going to put in another 10-digit code "but if it doesn't work then just wait until after 4pm and use the original code."Not a great start to our time in Long Beach.

The house was really cute, and set up perfectly. The hot tub was really wonderful under the stars, good location. Beds are more on the firm side, but we slept good anyway. Highly Recommend this home, it was really fun.

This is a very cute property, clean, well designed. I was surprised that for the cost the white towels were no longer white (maybe blue ones would last longer without looking dirty) and bowls, plates were chipped. Small improvements would make a big difference.

We had a very relaxing and comfortable time at this cottage. The amenities were great and the place was so welcoming. Loved the hot tub and fenced in yard for the pups. Neighbor was very nice and the neighborhood was very quiet (off season). Would definitely stay again!

The property location was excellent. I rated the property low in cleanliness because there was mold on the window sills, spider webs, and dog hair, inches of dust, socks, phone charger…all under the bed. The towels are dingy and furniture breaking down with stains. For the price per night, it should be in better condition. Renters should also know the chickens next door will wake you around 4am every day. Supplies were also limited. One dishwasher pod for a four day stay. Based on the dirt we didn’t end up cooking. The coffee maker didn’t look like it had ever been cleaned. Overall disappointing for the price paid.

Great place for a home base to explore Long Beach peninsula! Easy access to Discovery Trail and beach. Nice hot tub! Also, close to the North Beach Tavern pizza and Corral’s hamburgers.

Amazing stay!

The house was very welcoming to come in to. Minutes from the town center and also in walking distance from a nice pub and bakery. Couldn’t recommend this place more. It’s very quiet and quaint. Loved our stay!
