Welcome to Unit 44 at Kiahuna Plantation — a beautifully remodeled ground-floor end unit just a 2-minute walk to Kiahuna Beach and the Great Lawn.
Kiahuna Plantation is one of Poipu’s most loved beachfront properties, known for its expansive lawns, walkability, and relaxed island atmosphere. Our condo, located in Building 9, offers a peaceful end-unit location with extra natural light, gentle tradewind breezes, and easy access to the expansive lawn area just beyond the lanai.

The lanai is one of our favorite parts of the condo. Tucked away and surrounded by plumeria trees, tropical landscaping, and rustling banana leaves, it feels especially private and peaceful — a perfect place for coffee in the morning or relaxing after a day at the beach.

Kiahuna Plantation is a wonderful place to stay. Doreen was great with communication. The resort is quiet and so accessible to the beach, pool, and club house with many activities. Very child friendly too. This is our go to resort when in Kauai.
Loved our stay so much that this is our second time here! Perfect location to all the sights/hikes/beaches. Clean and well maintained property. We had the best time!
Lots of chickens. Sprinklers are loud in the early morning. Open air unit so it's a bit noisy.Great access to the beach, pool is off site but quite nice.

Very easy check-in process, and overall relaxing stay. Very enjoyable experience, with easy walk to the beaches for swimming and snorkeling. We also enjoyed access to the athletic club.
Very clean and spacious! We enjoyed the stay here. Great location! Only a few minutes walk to the beach and plenty of great places to eat and shop nearby. This is our second stay at Kiahuna Plantation and we will be back!
The condo was well stocked, clean, and offered many extra amenities (snorkel gear, ice chest, etc). The location was very close to the ocean, which was great! Our only complaint was that it could be quite noisy in the early morning with garbage trucks and service vehicles driving around at 7am. Overall, we found the condo to be a fantastic find for the price and location!

Perfect condo for family vacation on Kauai
We have stayed in several condos on Kauai and this has been the best. We love Kiahuna Plantation and this condo is in a great location within the resort.

We’re Jill & Darryl, and Kiahuna Plantation has been a special place to us for many years — long before we ever became owners. We’ve spent countless mornings walking to the beach with coffee in hand, afternoons listening to the tradewinds from the lanai, and evenings settling into the relaxed rhythm that makes this part of Kaua‘i so special.
This condo was already beautifully remodeled when we fell in love with it. In August 2026, we’ll also be adding new furnishings and air conditioning while preserving the relaxed, comfortable feeling we’ve always loved about Kiahuna.
Our hope is that guests feel truly at home here — whether that means slow mornings on the lanai, beach days, sunset walks, or simply having a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day.
We live in Northern California and genuinely love sharing this little piece of Kaua‘i with others. Mahalo for considering our condo for your stay — we hope you create wonderful memories here as well.
Why they chose this property
We’ve always loved this part of Kiahuna because it feels quiet, peaceful, and tucked into so much greenery. One of our favorite things about this condo is how connected it feels to the outdoors — from the rustling of the banana palms just outside the windows to the tradewinds that move through the condo throughout the day.
We spend a lot of time on the lanai — reading a good book, playing games at the outdoor table after a beach day, or simply slowing down and enjoying the surroundings. We especially love that the lanai stays shady and comfortable in the afternoons while still looking out onto the sunlit expansive lawn, where the late-day light creates a beautiful glow across the grass.
The ground-floor location was another huge draw for us. There are no stairs from the parking area to the condo, which is something you really appreciate after a Costco run or carrying in beach gear for the day. We also love the easy walk down the grassy path toward the Great Lawn and beach — especially when the plumeria trees are blooming along the way.
For us, Kiahuna has a timeless charm that’s become harder to find on Kaua‘i. From morning coffee walks to sunset strolls across the lawn, this place immediately felt like somewhere we wanted to return to again and again — and eventually call our own.
What makes this property unique
This condo is a true ground-floor end-unit location within Kiahuna Plantation. The additional side windows in the kitchen and dining area bring in wonderful tradewind airflow and natural light, and the lanai opens onto an expansive lawn and lush greenery.
The condo is also one of the rare units with no stairs from the nearby parking area to the front door — something guests especially appreciate when arriving with luggage, groceries, or beach gear.
We also love the balance this location offers: peaceful and private feeling, yet still an easy walk to Kiahuna Beach, the Great Lawn, nearby restaurants, and the athletic club. The condo has been beautifully remodeled, and we’ll continue updating the space with new furnishings and air conditioning in August 2026.
