The island village of Archsum, the smallest and most peaceful village on Sylt, surrounded by vast meadows and fields right on the Nössedeich. - Pure nature - Ideal for recharging, cycling, and enjoying the peace and quiet.
For your daily needs, you can find breakfast items and fresh rolls at the small store about 100 m from the house. The “Alte Schule” restaurant also invites you to linger and enjoy a meal.
For our younger guests, there’s a charming playground diagonally across the street from the house. Despite its proximity, you’ll hardly notice it, as the garden faces the other way.
Your small dog is also welcome for a fee.
The “Teewelkenhüs” itself is a quaint, thatched Sylt-Frisian house surrounded by a mature garden with several cozy seating areas for guests, in an absolutely quiet location and with a warm, inviting atmosphere.
There are three apartments available for rent in the house. These include the “Sonnenappartement” for 2 people and the “Schwalbennest” for up to 4 people, both located on the first floor, as well as the two-room “Wiesenappartement” on the first floor, which accommodates 2 people. No elevator!
Each apartment comes with one parking space. Barbecues are not permitted, with the exception of electric grills. Fire hazard.
For larger families or if you’d prefer to sleep separately, there’s also the option to book the “Zimmer,” a cozy two-bed room with a private bathroom, also located on the first floor.

Amenities:
The living area features two single corner sleeper sofas, two small armchairs, and a TV “hidden” in the wall unit.
In the center of the room, the dining area invites you to linger for cozy game nights. Games can be provided.
The small kitchenette, located in the living area, is equipped with, among other things, a microwave with oven/grill function, a two-burner stove, and a small dishwasher.
The bright bedroom features a semicircular double bed with a footboard. Two reading chairs add to the cozy atmosphere.
The rooms themselves are fitted with high-quality designer flooring. The Schwalbennest offers two bathrooms with showers.
Satellite TV, a CD player, and a radio are available, as is Wi-Fi.
Please note the regulations regarding the separate visitor’s tax charged by the respective municipality on Sylt. This tax is billed separately and is due no later than upon arrival.
