The address shown on the listing is not near the rental’s actual location. The condo is on Mulberry Street in the heart of Little Italy, which turned out to be a fantastic, convenient location. There was some confusion before check-in because the listing had been removed from VRBO. I contacted the host but did not receive a response until I reached out to VRBO, which was concerning. I was then told the listing had been temporarily removed while a marketing company updated it and that check-in instructions would be provided the day before arrival. We received a text with general information that day, but the access codes weren't sent until a few hours before check-in. Thankfully, everything worked out, and we entered the building without any issues. The condo is in a rear building, which was great because there was no street noise. The space is very small, but that is expected in NYC, and both the air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked well. The outdoor area was a little unusual because basement doors open directly into it, and someone came in and out during the day. Hearing the doors near our window early in the morning was startling, although the space was enjoyable in the evening.Overall, the location is excellent—close to the subway, restaurants, and many of the attractions you would want to visit.
