Tiny home cabin in Mount Lookout at The Market & Drinkery. Conveniently located 11 miles north of New River Gorge bridge and 5 miles from Summersville Lake. Perfect for solo traveler or couple. After a long day of exploring come grab dinner and brewskis without having to leave the property. Mini farm located on the property. Feed and pet the Mini highland cows, mini goats and mini donkey! They love company! Under NO circumstances do guest go in the pasture. Pet and feed through the gate.

Under NO circumstances do guest enter the pasture. All animals are to be fed and petted through the gate. Please be mindful of other patrons on the property. Dogs must be leashed at all times.

If there is a case that we do not hear from guest with 48 hrs of our protocol questions or concerns, we are obligated to terminate the reservation.

Very cute cabin! Close by to a lot of activities for day trips, swimming, hiking, etc. Would highly recommend staying here! Host was very friendly :) If you’re over 6 ft you may have a little trouble with navigation around the cabin due to the low ceiling. Overall really enjoyed our visit!

We needed a place to stay overnight on our way back from Pennsylvania to North Carolina and our dog doesn’t do well in hotel rooms. This small but charming space worked perfectly for our needs - easy on/off highway, farm setting where it was easy to walk the dog, and convenience of a small market/beer garden across the road. Getting into the large comfortable bed in the loft was a little challenge for these two senior citizens but we managed to do it and got a good nights sleep. Host made check- in easy. No complaints.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The property was 82F when we arrived and never cooled down much, making it very uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi also did not work.Privacy was another major concern. The property is located directly next to a market and has two random RVs nearby, so it is not nearly as private as we expected. Even more concerning, people who were not property owners approached my girlfriend and me in the middle of the night, which made us extremely uncomfortable.The biggest issue was the owner’s behavior. After we raised our concerns, the owner cussed us out, called us names and accused us of things we did not do, and threatened us legally, saying she knew the sheriff and would call them. This was completely inappropriate and unprofessional.Most concerning of all, the owner threatened us financially in an attempt to keep us from leaving an honest review, which we believe violates Vrbo’s policies regarding review extortion.We understand that no rental is perfect, but the combination of the excessive heat, nonfunctional Wi-Fi, lack of privacy, strangers approaching us at night, and the owner’s hostile behavior made this an experience we would not recommend to anyone. We would not stay here again.
