Trash to removed and put in dumpster. See Welcome book for location. Turn off all the lights.

We loved the up north vibe of the cabin. Comfortable, super clean, nicely stocked and very relaxing. We loved the fact we could bring our dog. If you like to fish, this is your place! Thanks Josh, we’ll be back!

We had such a wonderful family weekend getaway at Bigfoot Lakefront Lodge! It was the perfect way to squeeze in one last family trip before summer comes to an end and the busy school season begins.We made so many great memories, enjoyed spending quality time together, and had the chance to relax, listen to the birds, fish, and simply enjoy the last bit of summer. Bigfoot Lodge was a wonderful place for our family to escape, unwind, and make the most of our time together.

The cabin was clean, well taken care of and a great location. The host was always prompt at getting back to us on any questions I had. We all had a great time and will definitely be staying there again.

Both floors is the cabin are cooled by one very loud portable a/c. Not ideal for cooling the home and so loud hard to sleep in same room. House was very hot. Stairs are very steep and covered in felt. 3 of 4 of us slipped down them. The home was clean and the lake was great. Outside grill knobs were broke and needed cleaned very badly.

Overall a wonderful experience! Josh was very helpful when I had questions. Place was very clean and had everything u needed. Location on lake was good. Fun fishing off pier. Close to Westfield and interstate. Only drawback was also mentioned in previous review were the stairs leading to bedrooms. We were ok using them but for older people or young children they are very steep and narrow steps. Wouldnt stop me from renting again by any means as the overall experience was so peaceful and enjoyable!! Thank you Josh

We really enjoyed staying here! Great little place and location! It was great to have boats and bobbers drop off and pick up the boat!!! Pros: -super awesome location! -quiet area and park. Perfect! -kitchen fully stocked!!! -great having outdoor games, kayaks and paddle board! Cons (or things to consider) - indoor stairs: pitcher too steep and steps too narrow. Not accessible and challenging for able bodied folks like us even. - outdoor stairs - similar problem. - the deck wasn’t swept when we got there. Was full of pine needles. I had to sweep the entire deck so we went walking on needles. - outdoor table is way too high. It’s hard to pull the chairs up to it and eat. Chairs are too low. I know this is a new Airbnb. We really enjoyed our stay. These are just suggestions to make it a little better and maybe more accessible. Thank you!!

The cabin was very clean and Sasquash themed decor really cute. Josh quite the decorator, loved the pictures, articles, and Sasquash book. The lake busy with pontoons very quiet and restful. Cabin stocked Josh thought of everything. The raised toilet was wonderful for my bad knee. No webs on chairs, fences, windows, wood. That was appreciated. Hate it when webs aren’t swept away. We would go again for sure. Very pleased. Westfield a nice town and church.

Definitely would recommend and would return for vacation. We loved the cabin and all that was offered.Josh made check in and check out a breeze. Checked in via messaging to make sure all was well during our stay and if we needed anything. His suggestions for dining were great.

Great deck and pier on Lawrence Lake—which has beautiful and clear water. Very peaceful. The stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep, so not ideal for people with mobility issues, but otherwise this cottage is perfect.

Growing up, I always dreamed of owning a cabin up north—a place to fully enjoy the outdoors. While I didn’t often have the chance to travel there with my family, simply passing by log cabins made the Northwoods feel like home to me. After years of seeing them only as model homes, or places belonging to friends, I was fortunate enough to purchase this property in March 2026, and it has truly been a blessing.

Now, I’m excited to share that dream with others and offer families a place to create lasting memories of their own. The time I’ve spent here with my family means more to me than anything, and I hope you’ll experience that same sense of connection.

My hope is that this cabin serves as a peaceful retreat for your favorite outdoor activities—whether it’s long, quiet walks, fishing from the dock or boat, grilling meals together, kayaking through the bayS, or gathering around the campfire under the stars.
