Check-in was extremely easy and the host is extremely responsive. We had four adults, two kids and a dog, and there was plenty of room for everyone It’s a perfect spot for families with the additional living room area, pool table and foosball table all in the basement.

It was a great place, log cabin... maybe more suited to a guys hunting cabin. Lighting was dim, especially for old eyes, lol. (Certainly not suitable for sewing, crafting or scrapbooking). We had a problem with the water on Fri night & Sat morn... some had no water with soap on them, or cold water, or just a trickle. We contacted Jim and he fixed it. Was a nice serene setting, a pond with a fountain. Nice campfire area also. It was clean.

It was a nice cabin, pet friendly, and great communication with the host. Very peaceful area. The jacuzzi was nice as well as the pond out back. The kids had a blast fishing. There were a lot of deer to watch, just a great environment to be in. I would definitely recommend this cabin. The whole family enjoyed the stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property! The setting is fabulous, the house was immaculate, and we were so grateful to be able to bring our senior dog along.The kitchen is incredibly inviting and spacious enough for our family of five to cook and clean up together without a hitch. We originally planned on dining out in Decatur a few times, but we loved cooking in the kitchen so much that we stayed in instead.Another massive highlight was the pond—our sons were ecstatic with all the fish they caught! That was a absolute 10/10 feature. Jim was also incredibly helpful and responsive whenever we had questions, which made our stay comfortable and stress-free. We will definitely be back!
