This renovated home has two queen bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper level. Down a small flight of stairs is the living room, dining room, kitchen, patio and entryway. Laundry is available on the lower level.

1 minute to Utah State University (.01 miles or 1/2 block -- walking up Old Main Hill may take less time than driving and parking)
4 minutes to Logan Canyon, First Dam and hiking trails (2.1 miles)

The property is clean and the beds were fine, however the property does not have central air conditioning. There is one windows unit in one of the two bedrooms, which is not adequate to cool the home. When we arrived it was over 80 degrees in the main living space. We purchased small fans to move the cool air to the main space and second bedroom. We stayed one night. Sleeping conditions where fine in the bedroom with the unit but we did not have privacy because we needed to keep the door open so the other two people could get cool air. We left the home around 10 am and the main living space was already over 80 degrees even though the temp dropped to the 60s over night. There is no way to open windows to let in the cooler night air. It was too uncomfortable to stay the second night and no refund has been offered.

Sorry to hear this guest’s experience was disappointing. My only explanation is that the incorrect temperature setting was on the air conditioner. It is correct that there is one window unit (the property description indicates there is no central air, so that should not have been a surprise). We have had multiple guests this summer with no A/C complaints until this one, on a weekend that was actually cooler than usual. The guest left without warning, without giving us an opportunity to bring in an additional A/C unit, or correct the A/C setting, so we would have had no opportunity to get the house turned around and a new guest in place. If she had contacted to discuss fixing the problem before leaving we could discuss refunds. The guests were otherwise good, left the house very clean and loaded the dishwasher. We are sorry that it didn’t work out.
