Great place to stay for a long weekend at the beach. Having beach access close by was super convenient, plus having the elevator was a bonus. The pool was great as well. We would love to stay here again.
The condo was perfectClean plenty of roomBut the 2nd day the elevator was taken out for replacement . And would not be in operation for 2 to 3 weeks. That is the major reason we rented this condo.Called Spectrum who said they did not know about the elevator replacement. They did offer to come & help us take our luggage down if they could find someone .We managed by taking our luggage down little by little over the days. But we loved the condo. But this was a major issue & would have loved to have known about it before we rented.
Perfect location with amazing views, the public access was not much of a problem. All inside amenities (wifi make sure you use the G5 connection) were working perfectly and it was very clean, and the kitchen was nice, the fridge has both ice maker (flip the bar to make ice in lower freezer) and a spout for filter water from the inside. One low comment would be the light at the end of the beach access was right on my face from the bedroom; maybe management could cover (or filter) the light on the brush-facing side, and still keep the deck visible. Keep in mind that you don't get sunrise from this orientation of the beach itself, and it has nothing to do with the unit, is just how the beach makes a right turn away from the east, and the sundown is also a bit to the right. The AC was flawless and it allow us to get cozy. I will 100% return to this rental - it was a wonderful experience. They were able to even extend out stay w/in reason, and they were very accommodating. The parking is on visitor area and you need the permit on the dashboard, and it was spacious.
Clean and comfortable. All appliances, lights worked well. King bed in MBR was great. My 16 yr old son loved the bunk bed. The public beach access was just minimally annoying as it ran somewhat below our beach view balcony. Overall a very good unit and great stay. One thing to know: there IS A CODE to get in to the Dunescape Villa pools. The gates latches mostly don't catch, but when they, you need the code. I called Spectrum and got a quick response but they were unaware of the code. I found the code we used 2 years ago and it still worked. Also, we found a magnet kind of hidden on the side of the refrigerat of 4.or, behind the side wall, that had the code and we placed it front and center on the firdge for the next group to find. Great stay overall for family.
