This place is a true "Diamond in the Rough" with an emphasis on the "rough" part. The host was AMAZING and even left us extra towels after I reached out him directly, the place was tidy and clean, and we enjoyed the extra amenity of having the garage. I even had to reach out to the host to adjust the thermostat because it was getting humid and warm in the afternoon and he happyily lowered it for us without discussion. I will say while having the garage was nice, it was difficult to park in due to the small size and the fact that the garage doors had to be opened from the inside of the house. So every time we came and went someone would need to run back into the house to close the garage door. I will also add that the neighbourhood that this house is located in is very run down and we felt uneasy driving to and from, HOWEVER, it is close to downtown Columbus (5 minute drive) so should be expected. I would not feel safe alone in the neighborhood or standing outside of the house. What I also assumed was a driveway to only our house is actually a long drive that leads to another area (so do not be alarmed if other cars are driving right by the garage like we were). Overall, this was a great pick if you are familiar with the area and I would book any home with this host which is why I gave it an excellent rating!!!

This was a perfect location for a getaway with our dogs. The fenced in backyard really sold it. Very cute, quiet and close to lots of things we had to do during our stay. Our host was very helpful and communicative. Very pleased with our stay.

This house is adorable and clean! The air conditioning works very well and I didn't set it any lower than 74. I was pleasantly surprised because the toilet has a bidet, the fridge has ice and water, and the shower has a large rainfall shower head with good pressure. The yard is huge and there is off-street parking beside or inside the garage. It's a bit small, though, and anything bigger than a mid-size SUV (I have a RAV4) would be hard to fit inside. The house seems a little out of place in relation to the neighborhood, but we had no issues. My only complaint was the scent of the laundry detergent/fabric softener used on the bedding and towels. It was strong and I am very sensitive to smells, but David was very receptive to my suggestion of switching to a milder detergent. Would absolutely stay again!
