Oceanfront Family Friendly Cottage, Steps From Beach With Wood-Burning Fireplace

West Wind is a quaint, individual oceanfront+beachfront cottage. The living room has a wood-burning fireplace, making it a cozy space for the family or folks to gather and enjoy an excellent view of the the outdoors.

You're just a few steps away from Big Stump Beach, an 8 mile stretch of tranquil sandy beach between Yachats and Waldport.

Our policies:

We require our guests to fill out a registration card which includes the name, address email, and phone number of the person responsible for reserving your stay in West Wind here at Edgewater Cottages. We also require the names (first and last) of every member of your party, including pets. We do not share this information. After we have this information we will give you access the key to access West Wind. All of our accommodations are absolutely non-smoking and non-vaping. (Illicit drug use is also prohibited.)

Grilling on the decks and patio furniture are absolutely prohibited.

Pet Policy:
Pets must be completely housebroken and never allowed on beds or furniture. Pets cannot be left unattended, and they must not disturb other guests. It is your responsibility to clean up after your pets, both indoors and outside. You are responsible for any damages caused by your pet. (If you feel that your pet may hop up on the furniture please bring a clean pet blanket or something that covers and protects the bedding/upholstery.)

General rules: We are fortunate our Edgewater guests take good care of our cottages. The condition in which you leave the unit is taken into consideration if or when you request future reservations. We appreciate your leaving the unit, as much as possible, in the condition you found it. Please make sure dishes, pots and pans are clean and put away; floors swept/vacuumed; garbage in outside receptacle, etc. Please report any breakage, malfunctions, burned out light bulbs, etc. so we can replace or repair things as soon as possible to ensure your stay is more comfortable. All of our units are on septic tanks. Please do not flush diapers; "flushable" wipes; latex products; sanitary products or paper towels in the toilet. We have no garbage disposals in the cottages. Sand, grease, tea and
coffee grounds, peelings, food scraps will clog the lines, septic tanks and drain fields. Please dispose of all waste materials in the garbage can provided at your unit. We will gladly recycle your clean/rinsed glass, tin, aluminum, plastic bottles #1 or 2 (with a neck); newspaper, and cardboard if set aside, in the plastic hamper or bin provided. Food take-out containers, including pizza boxes & ice cream containers, all waxed containers, are considered trash. If you have unused food items that you do not wish to take with you
please leave them in the refrigerator or on the counter, they will not go to waste.
