Moosehead Lodge Cabin
Cabin was set in a very nice area. Beautiful view of the lake. Access to lake was tricky. Could not plug in the patio lights on the back deck. TV's didn't work properly due to poor communication between owner and rental agency. Fire place didn't work. With these things being somewhat minor, I highly recommend Moosehead Lodge for a peaceful getaway. Plenty of activities to do in the area such as moose tours, sea plane tours, hiking and waterfalls. Loved Moxie Falls and Prongs Pond was the nicest lake Ive ever kayaked and fished.

Time to call Maine Cabin Masters
First of all, we wanted early check in (for which we were willing to pay a pretty high "add-on") and never got a call to let us know despite being told you would let us know.
1.The road in needs grading - it's in bad shape.
2.The layout of the house is poor relative to the bedrooms and bathrooms.
3.The view of the lake is very nice.
4.The decking material is in bad shape and could easily cause damage if walking barefoot.
5.The door to the deck is falling off and pieces of siding are falling off.
6.No instructions for the TV and almost all worthwhile channels are available only for a charge.
7.There should be a hair dryer in each bathroom
8.These have to be the lowest toilets ever made.
9.On the plus side the kitchen is very good
10.The light over the dining table flickers.
Location is beautiful. The kids loved the trains and putting coins on the track. Beds all very comfortable and bathrooms all very nice. Spectacular view of Moosehead Lake from the deck.

Cozy Getaway
The house was 10 minutes from town, had all the basic amenities we needed, and allowed us to enjoy the getaway we were looking for-a quick car trip to the dock for Mt. Kineo, a kayaking day, a comfy day playing games, campfires and s’mores, everything you can hope for in a vacation.

moosehead lodge
real nice ,very comfortable . My wife and three adult children all agree and would stay again.
We only stayed two nights and spent our entire day hiking Gulf Hagas so we weren’t there long but it had everything we needed and it’s a beautiful setting. Wish we could have stayed longer.
