It's equipped with a full bath, full kitchen with stove/oven and microwave, own washer/dryer, TV, Wi Fi and queen bed (which will comfortably sleep 2). It has a private independent entrance, with a small sitting patio, and is comfortable for 1 person. A well-appointed bathroom makes your stay even more comfortable. It also has 1 off street private parking space, and there are more parking spaces on the street. Whether for work or leisure, this cute studio offers a peaceful retreat yet you're walking distance from downtown San Rafael restaurants and banks, and 3 minutes from 101, which makes for a quick trip to San Francisco, Wine Country or the East Bay from here. You're sure to make fantastic memories and have a productive stay at our place.

We've lived in Marin County since 1977. We travel between California, Colombia and occasionally Europe off and on throughout the year. We have been hosts of short terms rentals for over 14 years, mostly on another competing platform. Since we have always been avid travelers, we apply that experience and what we like from our travels, to the properties we host.
Why they chose this property
We have owned this home since 1986. The best thing about this neighborhood is how close and central it is to everything in San Rafael and in Marin County and the rest of the Bay Area.
What makes this property unique
This is a 1932 Eduardian home that we have maintained and renovated, and improved upon GREATLY over the years. It's never been as nice as it is right now... Plus the location is great if you want quick access to downtown San Rafael, central Marin County, and quick access to 101 and either to Sausalito, Tiburon, San Francisco or across the bay to Berkeley or north to Petaluma, Sonoma and Napa wine country. Or a jaunt out to West Marin and the local beaches like Stinson and Limantour or towns like Point Reyes and Inverness.
