Tolle Lokalität, Landschaft, Umgebung!

Pros: Dieser alte, liebevoll restaurierte "Trollo" (traditionell aus Feldsteinen gebautes rundes Haus) war an sich schon ein Erlebnis. Schöner Garten, ein netter Gastgeber! Die nur 6 km entfernte Stadt Ostuni ist ein wahrer Augenschmaus, wo sich abends das Leben auf Plätzen und in den Gassen abspielt. Zentral gelegen in einer geschichtlich sehr interessanten Gegend! Wir haben uns u.a. auch das Castel del Monte (1 Autostunde) angeschaut. Bari, Brindisi, Lecce, Taranto ... alles gut und schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Also, wenn man sich z.B. für die Zeit der Kreuzzüge interessiert (wie ich), eine echte Fundgrube hier. Gerne wieder! Cons: Der Fahrstil in diesen Breiten ist schon "etwas" gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zurück in Deutschland muss man sich erstmal wieder an Blitzer (!) gewöhnen. Fette schwarze SUVs, die einem aufgeblendet und Blinker links fast in den Kofferraum fahren, nerven schon gewaltig, zumal die Straßen zuweilen etwas "holprig" sind und wir mit unserem gemieteten Panda ganz gemütlich (und sehr spritsparend!) durch die Gegend schnurrten. Aber, wie gesagt, man gewöhnt sich dran. Bei uns würde so eine "Fahr"weise tierisch ins Geld gehen! Ansonsten - tolles Land mit netten Leuten!

Romantische Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage

Pros: Unsere Gastgeber waren außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich- wir wurden sogar zu einem Dinner eingeladen. Angenehmes Raumklima durch die dicken Mauern. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut. Viele gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten im Aussenbereich.
