Op de Diek—Low German for "on the dike"—the name of this holiday home in St. Peter-Ording says it all.
This spacious holiday home can accommodate up to 5 people plus a toddler for a wonderful holiday in St. Peter-Ording.
Its great location, behind the dune belt in the Dorf area, combines peace and relaxation with easy access to restaurants, cafés, and the countless shopping options in the village centre.
The beach is also just a few minutes’ walk from the village.

The holiday home features a large, furnished terrace with a retractable awning and an inviting garden. Thanks to its location and amenities, the holiday home is particularly family-friendly—children are warmly welcome here.
The open, bright living room is furnished with a cosy seating area consisting of a comfortable sofa and two armchairs. The in-house wood-burning stove ensures relaxing moments during your holiday, and a large flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi are available for multimedia entertainment. A selection of books is also available.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped, featuring, among other things, a large glass-ceramic cooktop and oven, as well as a dishwasher, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining room features a large dining table for the whole family and a small pantry where food and drinks stay wonderfully cool.
A large, bright bedroom with a 180x200cm double bed is also located on the ground floor.
Additionally, there is a guest bathroom as well as a bathroom with a tub, shower, and toilet.

On the upper floor, there are two additional bedrooms, one with a single bed and access to the balcony.
The rear bedroom has two single beds, which can be combined to form a double bed. There is also another bathroom with a shower and toilet on this floor.

Schöne, helle und geräumige Wohnung

Das freistehende Haus, in dem außer dieser Ferienwohnung noch eine Ferienwohnung für die Eigentümer im "Anbau" untergebracht ist, liegt im Stadtteil Dorf, nur 3 Fußminuten von Geschäften und Restaurants entfernt, aber trotzdem absolut ruhig mit großzügigem Parkplatz auf dem Hof und Abstellmöglichkeit von Fahrrädern im Garten (nicht überdacht). Nach 5km Radweg kann man in Ording mit dem Rad bis auf den Strand fahren (perfekter Strand z.B. für Surfer und Familien). Die Wohnung ist hell und bietet einer Familie mit 3 Kindern viel Platz, alle Fenster können mit Jalousien verdunkelt werden. Bereits in den vorhergehenden Rezensionen wurde beschrieben, dass das 3. Schlafzimmer mit Einzelbett ein Durchgangszimmer ist und die Vorratskammer einen eigentümlichen Geruch verströmt, allerdings nur, wenn sie geöffnet ist. Eine Waschmaschine könnte die Wohnung noch attraktiver machen. Der Garten ist klein und gepflegt, man kann mit der ganzen Familie draußen sitzen.

Das Haus ist renovierungsbedürftig. Es fehlten der angegebene Strandkorb und der Grill. Außerdem wurde nicht erwähnt, dass das Einzelzimmer ein Durchgangszimmer ist. Die Speisekammer roch sehr muffig. Der Kühlschrank ist für 5 Personen zu klein. Eine kleine Anregung... Vielleicht könnte über die Anschaffung einer Mikrowelle, eines Radios und eventuell einer Uhr nachgedacht werden.
