Waialua is home to this guesthouse. LiliʻUokalani Protestant Church and Kukaniloko Birthstones State Monument are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Polo Beach and Mokuleia Beach Park. Kuuloa Kai Charters and Waimea Arboretum and Botanical Garden are also worth visiting. Jet skiing and scuba diving offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and horse riding nearby.
Settle into your own detached guesthouse on five acres of tropical grounds, with fruit trees, mountain scenery, and the beach just a short stroll away. This thoughtfully renovated space makes a comfortable home base for exploring Oahu, spending time by the water, or simply enjoying a slower pace.
Inside, you’ll find the essentials for an easy stay, including separate air conditioning in the bedroom and living space, a well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and a smart television. Outside, your private deck and a hammock beneath the trees offer inviting places to unwind. When it’s time to leave, there’s no checkout chore list.

The surrounding area
A walk of approximately six minutes brings you to public beach access. Spend your days swimming, snorkeling, relaxing on the sand, or wandering along the shoreline. You may spot sea turtles during your visit.
The neighborhood has a relaxed, individual character and sits away from the busier visitor areas. Haleiwa’s shops and restaurants are roughly ten minutes away by car. Allow approximately 35 minutes to reach Honolulu Airport and 45 minutes to Waikiki, depending on traffic.
This is a residential setting with families nearby. Children may be audible outdoors after school and on weekends, particularly on the neighboring property. They generally settle in early in the evening.
Privacy and access
You’ll have exclusive use of the detached guesthouse and its private deck. Our home is also on the property, with substantial space between the buildings.
A route along the side of the grounds leads toward the public beach entrance. Another dwelling on the property may accommodate either longer-term residents or short-stay guests, depending on the season. Please use the outdoor area around your guesthouse and respect the other occupants’ space.
Your hosts
We live on-site and are available if you need assistance, local suggestions, or help with anything during your stay. Otherwise, we give you room to enjoy your visit independently.
You may also receive a friendly visit from our curious black cat.
A note about the tropical setting
The property sits on lush agricultural land surrounded by vegetation. Insects are part of this environment, and occasional ants or small cockroaches can appear indoors, especially during summer or following heavy rain.
We maintain regular professional pest treatments around the exterior every two weeks, use bait stations, and have sealed gaps wherever possible. These measures reduce insect activity, but they cannot eliminate it completely.
Keeping exterior doors shut and storing opened food in the refrigerator helps. If insects become an issue during your visit, please contact us so we can arrange an additional pest-control service.
