Welcome to Haus Bossnatorp, Vetlanda, Sweden.

Garden sauna, park-like grounds, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, private lake access with a large pier (yoga) and a floating swimming platform.

The property, which once served as a farmstead with its three houses, was converted into a beautiful holiday home in 1972.

The main house, stylishly designed in a country-style look, offers plenty of space across approximately 100 square metres:

On the ground floor is the spacious living room with a dining area for up to 6 people, which can be heated by a working fireplace. The fireplace is centrally located in the room and invites you to relax and unwind, whether from the dining table or the sofa.

In addition, the ground floor features a spacious kitchen-living area equipped with a fridge-freezer, an electric stove, and a dishwasher. You can also enjoy a leisurely meal at the handmade table and matching benches if you don’t feel like eating in the living/dining area.

Next to the kitchen-diner is the utility room, which contains a washing machine and a pump for the deep-well.
On the upper floor of the house, you’ll find the bathroom (including a toilet) and a separate shower room.

There are also two bedrooms here, each furnished with a double bed. In the larger bedroom with a fireplace, a daybed that sleeps two additional guests can also be used. Both rooms also offer ample space for adding cots.

In winter, the fireplace provides cosy warmth throughout the entire upper floor. Outside, the large wooden deck with its garden furniture invites you to linger. Thanks to the well-equipped grill and accompanying gear, nothing stands in the way of a lovely evening barbecue.

The smaller outbuilding on the property features a highlight: the wood-fired sauna. In a spacious lounge area with room for four loungers, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the grounds and the adjacent forest through the large windows. The wooden deck, which wraps almost entirely around the sauna house, also offers the chance to cool off outdoors after a sauna session, and of course, the garden showers on our open-air deck are ready to refresh you.

For additional fun, the property features a badminton net with rackets, a slackline, and fishing (for beginners).

Although you’re in the middle of a holiday idyll with plenty of space for young and old—where dogs are also welcome (cats, unfortunately, are not)—you don’t have to do without modern amenities. Satellite TV with HDMI access for laptops (streaming), internet/Wi-Fi, and a Bluetooth speaker are available. Of course, you don’t have to use them if you don’t want to. In that case, this is the place that guarantees peace and relaxation!

We’ve also got you covered if you’re looking for some activity. Just a few minutes’ walk from the property lies the lake with its own pier (including a yoga deck) and a “floating” swimming island. Hof Bossna has its own access to the lake, where you’ll find a rowing boat for excursions both short and long. Life jackets (for children) are available in the house.
