Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please wash any used dishes OR load and start the dishwasher with provided dish soap pod. No need to put away any cleaned dishes. Leave the heat and ac on and set at 68 degrees
Please leave all drapes / curtains open. Please do not remove sheets from beds and please do not make up the beds after they have been used. Our cleaners will strip linens for laundry.
Please place any used towels in the basket located in the laundry room. Please gather and remove trash from inside of house and place in outside garbage can located outside of the garage.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Any undisclosed pet will result in an extra charge of $50 being added. Emotional / therapy animals are not considered service trained and require fee
No pets unattended unless they are safely crated while you are away. No pets on furniture, including sofa, chairs, bedding etc. Pet towels provided.

Updated and spacious 4 bed home with 2 distinct family gathering spaces and a large kitchen w plenty of storage if you need to cook for a crowd. Loved the firm mattress for a great night’s sleep and 2 large baths. Appreciated the doggie box of extra supplies, if needed. Nice semi-private deck to enjoy good weather. Locally, this home is conveniently located near the Boone RR museum, Rail Explorers and Ledgers State Park. Check out the High Trestle Bridge in Madrid for an evening stroll. Shea & Amy provided a relaxing home away from home to explore the area.

We had a wonderful stay! There was plenty of room for everyone, and the home was very clean and well maintained. The decor was homie and made the space feel warm and inviting. The location was also excellent—convenient and close to everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

The entire experience was awesome. Everything so perfect. It does not have a recliner but the furniture is comfy. If walks could talk, you would hear a lot of family laughter going on.

Boone is an amazing town with so many things to do! We are only 15 mins to Ames and 35 mins to Des Moines.

Spacious 4 bedroom 2 bathroom with 2 living spaces allows for guests to spread out. Large kitchen is perfect for smaller family / friend gatherings. Amazing neighborhood that is amazing for walking your pet!
