Holiday home at a miniature farm in the Jauerling/ Wachau area

The guest appartment is located in our farm house, which is roughly 300 years old. All rooms are renovated with love and care and have wooden floors and central heating as well as a stove - for the sake of romance - in the living room.

At our little farm we host a small number of sheep and a small number of chicken.

Words cannot express what an amazing stay this was. Our host was so friendly, we immediately felt like we were home. We loved the suggestions for local sights and really enjoyed sunset walks around the farm in the evening. So animals were so cute! If you are looking for a country stay, this is a must stay place.

Austrian Stay

We decided to visit Austria and chose the Wachau region to explore. We had an amazing, relaxed experience that worked for the adults and kids. Our accommodation and experience with Stephan was fantastic and the location was perfect for our journeys to all the amazing villages and towns in the area. Maria Laach is gorgeous with a great restaurant and the village we stayed in was quaint and comfortable. Stephan was most helpful and very easy to communicate and advised us on a number of accassions. We would recommend him and this property

Christmas stay

Four of us plus a dog stayed for a few days at Christmas. The property was generally well-equipped, although the kitchen is limited by not having a microwave. Also, accommodation consisted of a double room upstairs, plus a single bed on the upstairs landing and a sofa bed downstairs. We made this work but it might be cramped for a similar or larger group of adults. The owner was very helpful.

Rund um sorglos

Wir hatten so erholsame Tage auf dem wunderschönen Hof in absolut ruhiger Atmosphäre! Das kleine Häuschen ist total liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und man kann wirklich zur Ruhe kommen. Die Gastgeber sind unfassbar freundlich und man fühlt sich einfach zu 100 Prozent wohl. Jederzeit gerne wieder!!!

Mooie landelijke plek

Erg vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer, fijne woning, landelijke omgeving. Je zit dicht bij de natuur, voor uitstapjes en om ter plaatse te geraken is een auto wel heel handig. In de tuin onder de appelbomen is het heerlijk zitten (en dat ze je zelf appels mag nemen van de oogst is ook erg leuk. In het dorp is een zelfbedienings-boerderijwinkeltje dat 24 u per dag open is. Alles gaat in goed vertrouwen daar, heel bijzonder!

Schöner Winterurlaub

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in Maria Laach. Die Wohnung war sauber, sehr gemütlich und bzgl der Ausstattung hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Kinder waren begeistert von den Tieren auf dem Hof, konnten sich dort frei bewegen und beim Füttern der Tiere helfen. Die Gastgeber haben wir als freundlich und zuvorkommend empfunden und uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung bietet unzählige Möglichkeiten an Ausflügen, Wanderungen und kulturellen Highlights, auch mit guten Schlechtwetter-Alternativen. Zudem wunderschöne Landschaft mit Blick auf die Alpen und einem tollen Abschnitt des Donautals. Insgesamt, besonders für Familien mit Kindern, sehr empfehlenswert.

Landidyll in der Wachau

Die Lage der Wohnung war hervorragend zur Erkundung von Niederösterreich, Wien und Linz (Programm der Niederösterreich-Card ist super!). Stefan und Agnes sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben uns in den Tagesablauf des Hofes eingebunden. So kümmerten wir uns um die drei Hühner und hatten drei Wochen lang frische Eier. Klasse! Die Wohnung ist hübsch und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Sie ist eher für Familien mit kleineren Kindern geeignet. Es war ein toller Urlaub. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir haben uns ( drei Erwachsene und eine Jugendliche) sehr wohl in dieser sehr liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung gefühlt. Der Hof, die Tiere, der Garten und die wunderschöne Umgebung haben es uns angetan. Konnten viele Ausflüge machen und wurden von Stefan gut beraten. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Urlaub zwischen Berg, Wald und Wein.

Wir, älteres Ehepaar ohne Kinder, haben Ende August/Anfang September 2020 einen zweiwöchigen Urlaub in Friedersdorf verbracht und genossen. Die Wohnung liegt in ruhiger Lage am Rande eines Weilers auf dem Hochplateau zwischen Jauerling und Donautal in einer schönen Mittelgebirgslandschaft und ist ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Leute, die Wandern, Wald, Fluss, Wein, Geschichte und Kultur mögen. Die Wohnung liegt in einem alten, mit Liebe und Aufwand renovierten Bauernhof. Sie war sauber und ist ansprechend möbliert und bietet ausreichend Platz für eine Kleinfamilie. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass die Kochgelegenheit nur über einen Zweiplattenherd ohne Backofen. Der somit keine Kochorgien ermöglicht. Den Umgang mit den Gastgebern haben wir als ausgesprochen angenehm und unkompliziert empfunden. Wir können uns ohne weiteres vorstellen dort wieder einen Urlaub zu verbringen.
