Relax beneath the live oaks in this private 4BR/3BA Mt Pleasant retreat—just 10 minutes to Sullivans Island/beach or to Historic Downtown Charleston. You will love this home from the minute you drive up, with its modern touches to an older ranch home. The home features original hardwood floors, two ensuite bedrooms/bathrooms along with 2 other bedrooms which share a bathroom, and a spacious fenced backyard perfect for unwinding. Enjoy evenings under the oaks around the firepit and fire up the grill after a day exploring the Low County.

All of the bathrooms have been recently updated with tile and marble showers/baths.

Locally owned and hosted—no management company, just thoughtful hospitality. New to VRBO but have earned a 4.9 star rating on another popular booking platform over the last 7 years.

Private use of the entire home for up to 8 guests and your pup is welcome! There are four 55 inch smart TVs, high speed WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen and full sized washer and dryer. Say what-just like home! The backyard is a mix of natural grass, new artificial turf, a patio, grill, fire pit, corn hole and a dining table. We have driveway parking for 2 cars and street parking for 2 cars for a maximum of 4 vehicles.

There are beach chairs, beach toys and a cornhole game in the backyard shed for your use.

Great place for a family to stay. Close to the beach and downtown as well. Had a big backyard for hanging out as well.

If we are not improving our properties, or golfing or traveling, you can find us on the water enjoying our 2nd home-our sailboat.

Why they chose this property

This home was perfect for us as its centrally located between Historic Charleston and the beach- offering our visitors the best of both worlds. We saw potential to improve and expand the home, which we have done. We have added a master bath to the largest bedroom in the home via a converted garage as well as given the home a more modern approachable look. The shaded backyard has truly been transformed with landscaping, turf, outdoor dining and a fire pit so our guests can truly enjoy lowcountry living.

75 year old oak trees engulf the backyard into a true private oasis.
