THE VACATION HOME:
BEDROOMS
Enjoy the main bedroom's king-size comfort, while the second bedroom offers a queen-size bed and a single bed. Both sleeping quarters are screened and feature top-tier mattresses, premium bedding, bed netting, and ceiling fans. The rooms are adorned with captivating original artwork by local Central American talents, embodying cultural charm. The windows can be closed with wooden shutters for added privacy and comfort.

BATHROOMS
Our semi-open bathrooms are unique, adorned with tropical flora, creating a tranquil ambiance. Take pleasure in refreshing showers with ample hot water and excellent water pressure. Complimentary towels are provided for your convenience throughout your stay. The bathrooms are also screened for your comfort.

KITCHEN
The fully-equipped kitchen is furnished with modern amenities including a refrigerator with freezer, a stove, oven, blender, toaster, and coffee maker. Appreciate the seamless connection between the kitchen hatch and the dining area, customizable to your preference.

Placed upon the expansive veranda, you'll find a charming dining area and a cozy seating spot, perfect for gathering with loved ones. The house is located at the end of a quiet residential lane with no through traffic – offering you a tranquil setting just a short five-minute walk from the breathtaking Playa Negra beach.

ARRIVAL & TRANSPORT
The nearest international airport is San José (SJO). You can reach Puerto Viejo by car, shuttle, domestic flight (to Limón Airport), or public bus.

LOCATION & NEARBY SERVICES
Casa Corazón is just outside the center of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. Within walking distance, you’ll find the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, scooter/ATV/bike rentals, a yoga studio, a tour desk, and a beauty salon.
A 5-minute drive takes you into town for pharmacies, ATMs, laundromats, clinics, dentists, banks, notaries, and the post office. Puerto Viejo also offers bars, souvenir shops, clothing stores, ice cream parlors, gyms, more yoga studios, massage and beauty salons, and tech repair services.

GARDEN & SEASONAL PRODUCE
Guests are welcome to enjoy fruits and herbs from the garden when ripe. We grow:
pineapple, cacao, jackfruit, soursop, rambutan, orange, sugar cane, mango, banana, plantain, avocado, guava, key lime, cashew fruit, Jamaican cherry, Colombian sapote, and herbs like culantro coyote, basil, lemongrass, and others.

PERSONAL HOST EXPERIENCE:
As your host, I warmly invite you to join my Chocolate & Waterfall Tour. You’ll discover how chocolate is traditionally made, learn about the use of plants in indigenous culture, and visit a ranarium to observe colorful frogs up close. At the end of the tour, you’ll have the chance to swim at the base of a refreshing waterfall or simply relax and soak in the beauty of nature.
