Maroldsweisach lies at the foot of the Zeilberg, an extinct volcano, in the triangle formed by the cities of Bamberg, Coburg, and Schweinfurt. Enjoy a hike along the Stein Adventure Trail around the Zeilberg, with magnificent views of the Rhön, the Thuringian Forest, and the Weisach Valley. A stop at the nearby beer garden afterwards is the perfect way to round out your hike. In Maroldsweisach, Lower Franconia, castles and ruins add to the charm of the area. Discover them along the surrounding bike and hiking trails and let nature enchant you. For those seeking relaxation, we recommend a visit to the thermal baths in Bad Königshofen, home to Germany’s first natural healing water lake, or to the thermal baths in the surrounding towns of Bad Staffelstein, Bad Rodach, or Bad Colberg in Thuringia. For culture enthusiasts, excursions to the historic city of Bamberg—whose old town has been designated an UNESCO World Heritage Site—are well worth it, or you can visit the Vierzehnheiligen pilgrimage church, go on a long hike, and round off the day with a stop at one of the nearby breweries. The historic old town of Würzburg, located in the Franconian wine country, is also well worth a visit. A cosy outdoor seating area invites you to linger. A children’s playground is located in the immediate vicinity. Our bright, comfortably furnished 3-room holiday apartment is centrally located in Maroldsweisach, in the Haßberge Nature Park. The newly renovated 64 m² apartment on the ground floor features one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with a single or double bed, and a living/dining room. The fully equipped kitchen includes a small seating area. Kitchen linens, bed linens, towels, and a hair dryer are provided. If needed, we can provide a travel cot for children. There is a cosy outdoor seating area. A children’s playground is located in the immediate vicinity. A washing machine is located in the adjacent building and can be used for a fee of 5.00 EUR per use. A 40% deposit is due at the time of booking. Payment must be made in advance via bank transfer. Payment can be made by bank transfer or in cash. Credit card payments are not accepted. Check-in: Between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. or by arrangement.
