Beautiful, spacious, clean, home perfect for large families. Our family of 11 (9 adults, 2 kids) had plenty of space and didn’t feel cramped. Prime location and walking distance to plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, including King Street. The check-in process was easy and the host is very responsive. There are parking lots conveniently located less than a block from the home if you have more than 1 car. The beds are very comfortable and towels are stocked to accommodate your defined number of guests. Highly recommend!
This was a great spot! Right in downtown Alexandria, Maggie's place had lots of space for our party of 9. We were in town to visit Mount Vernon and it was only 20mins away. She stayed in touch throughout our stay and responded quickly. There are three levels to the house: the first level is the dining room, half bath, kitchen, breakfast nook, laundry, and one of the living rooms; the second level is the queen bedrooms and the twin and sofa bed bedroom, a full bath, and another living room. One of the queen bedrooms is accessed through the twin bed and sofa bed bedroom. And then the third level are both king beds and another full bathroom. The whole space is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with lots of space to either spend time together as a group or time resting as an individual. We made several meals at Maggie's place and the kitchen was well-stocked with what we needed, including plenty of utensils, plates, bowls, etc for the size of our group. Also, despite being in the midst of everything, the street/city noise wasn't noticeable.
