The comfortable and 5*-star DTV-classified penthouse “Friedenshöhe 5” is located in an apartment house newly built in 2022, which is characterized by high-quality materials and modern comfort.

On an area of ​​approx. 113 square meters, this holiday apartment on the top floor offers you a generous amount of space: 3 cozy bedrooms, 2 bathrooms in Italian porcelain stoneware and with furnishings from Villeroy & Boch as well as a large living room with high-quality parquet made of oiled oak floorboards and designer furniture ( Brühl & Sippolt, Rolf Benz, Manufaktur Cierre), large television and hi-fi system await you. The adjacent open kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay, including a 2-zone wine fridge. For relaxation, one of the bathrooms has a whirlpool bathtub. On the balcony you can thoroughly enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Your four-legged friends are also very welcome.
The house has a washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron as well as a storage room for skis and bicycles. Baby cot and high chair are available upon request.
You can park your car in the underground car park belonging to the house (height 2.00 m). The elevator takes you directly to your holiday apartment without barriers.
The “Friedenshöhe” apartment house is in a very quiet location just above the center of Oberammergau. In about 15 minutes on foot you can reach the town center with various sights (Passion Play House and much more), the tourist information office, the train station and many shopping opportunities. A variety of restaurants are available for culinary holiday enjoyment. In addition, Oberammergau and the Ammergau Alps region offer you countless opportunities for cultural and sporting leisure activities at any time of the year.

Excellent!

We would have been happy to stay longer in this well-equipped property. Spacious and well furnished, the new (2021) unit had everything we needed. Sited in a quiet neighborhood, the unit was a short walk away from the central part of town while offering a beautiful view from the back balcony. The indoor parking would have worked well for a vehicle smaller than our 8-passenger van. The private elevator was quite convenient. Communication with the rental management company was smooth and efficient, thanks to the "Feondi" organizer. We would happily return.

Lovely Accommodation

Have to say, this was a great place to stay for the 5 of us (2 adults and 3 children). Good-sized bedrooms and bathrooms, plus large living/dining area and balcony. Very quiet and with beautiful views (unfortunately, no snow!). The parking is very very tight, but convenient and the lift goes all the way up to the flat. Only really two areas to improve on: 1) Would have been nice to have a washing machine and dryer in the flat. There is only 1 downstairs in the entire house for all flats. 2) Second set of keys should be made available to guests. We also had some teething issues with the initial booking, hopefully they have sorted these in their system now. However, overall very responsive and would book through this company again.

Kurzurlaub in Oberammergau

Die Wohnung hat alles was benötigt wird. Wir waren zu fünft und hatten viel Platz. Der Blick auf dem Berg vom Balkon aus ist herrlich und der Fußweg zum Centrum nicht weit. Ich denke so ca 10-15min. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
